4 skin care loopholes accelerate pore aging

Don’t think that wrinkles are the sign of aging. Sagging skin is the invisible killer of aging! Sagging skin can be easily overlooked, but it is an irreversible process. Enlarged pores are often a sign of aging and sagging skin. From now on, you must always be vigilant!

Improper cleaning

You probably didn't expect that over-cleansing would be the culprit of pore aging. You may always attribute enlarged pores to excessive oil secretion, but you don’t realize that if your pores are dry and aging, excessive cleaning will only make things worse.

In addition, if you always irritate your skin for a long time due to over-cleansing, it will easily cause skin inflammation. At the same time, the moisture retention will also decrease, and the skin will age prematurely without knowing it.

In addition, if you frequently use deep cleansing masks, it can also cause your pores to become enlarged. The function of a deep cleansing mask is to quickly warm up the skin's epidermis by covering it, opening the pores and absorbing the sebum deep in the pores. This will passively open the pores frequently, and the degree of pore closure will slowly decrease. If the correct and necessary astringent procedures are not given, the pores will inevitably become enlarged first and then sag.

Inadequate sun protection

Ultraviolet radiation is of course the number one killer of skin aging. Ultraviolet rays not only cause sunburn and tanning of the skin, but also cause oxidation of sebum on the skin's surface, reduce the skin's immune ability, damage the basement membrane, and even damage cell DNA. In addition, the increasingly polluted dirty air will cause skin cells to produce a large number of free radicals and toxins, causing them to lose their original elasticity, thus resulting in aging.

Lack of water and dryness

The basis of skin health is moisture. The dermis, epidermis and stratum corneum are like walls built layer by layer with bricks, protecting the skin from external damage. Skin cells are bricks that need moisture to connect and bond. Without moisture, the bricks will easily collapse, forming an uneven skin surface and stretching the shape of the pores into irregular shapes. Over time, the condition of the pores will inevitably deteriorate.

When the moisturizing factors that we can secrete are far from meeting the needs of the skin, we must use external supplements to fill the skin with moisture from the inside out, and rely on appropriate oils to prevent moisture from being lost. If every layer of the skin is fully hydrated, there will naturally be no problems with collapse and unevenness. If the originally large pores are properly hydrated, they will become less obvious due to expansion.

Accumulation of old dead skin cells

The base layer of the skin continuously produces new cells and transports them to the upper layer. When the cells age, they move outward and become the outer layer of old dead skin cells, which naturally fall off and peel off when washing your face or sweating. The stratum corneum is constantly being renewed, and old dead skin cells are produced every day. The dead skin cells that should have been naturally metabolized and peeled off will be affected by aging, incomplete cleaning, sun exposure, excessive oil production, changes in work and rest, weather changes, etc., which will affect the rate of shedding. Once too much old dead skin cells accumulate on the face, the pores will be expanded by these excess dead skin cells.

On the other hand, pores clogged by old dead skin cells will also affect the smooth absorption of water and nutrients. The skin base cannot get the nutrients it needs during the metabolism process, the quality of new cells produced will be compromised, and the once delicate and moisturized skin quality will of course be greatly compromised.
