Principle of laser freckle removal

Principle of laser freckle removal

Laser is a kind of visible light with high-intensity instantaneous energy. Lasers of different wavelengths can improve the color of the skin, so many people use laser to treat freckles. Many laser treatment methods have good treatment methods for pigment deposition. The treatment time of laser treatment for pigmentation is relatively short. The skin needs a metabolic function. Generally, four to six treatments are required to achieve the desired effect. Therefore, laser treatment is a long-term and effective process for treating pigmentation.

What is the principle of laser freckle removal? It mainly relies on the laser emitted by the treatment instrument to penetrate the skin with pigmentation and enter the skin with pigmentation. The pigmentation will dissipate under the strong laser irradiation, so there is no damage to normal skin.

The principle of laser freckle removal is that the laser emitted by the treatment instrument can penetrate the damaged skin very smoothly, enter the damaged area, and treat the pigment in the damaged area. The pigment of freckles will change under the powerful laser irradiation and then dissipate on its own, thus being cured. Laser treatment does not forcibly remove pigments, but rather treats through the skin. However, if you are not careful after the treatment, it will leave scars. Moreover, due to its selectivity, it only acts on pigment particles and does not damage normal skin.

Freckles: Small brown spots ranging in size from a pinpoint to a grain of rice, scattered on the cheeks and bridge of the nose. They usually appear in childhood and always exist.

Moles: Most of them appear gradually after puberty, ranging from several to dozens, and are pinpoint to rice-sized flat brown or black spots or raised papules, mainly distributed on the face and neck.

Zygomatic nevus: After puberty, clusters of gray-blue spots ranging in size from the tip of a needle to a grain of rice gradually appear on the cheekbones on both sides or below the outer sides of the eyes. A small number of patients have a familial inheritance.

Liver spots: Brown spots that gradually increase in number after the age of 25, mostly appearing symmetrically on both cheeks. The color is similar to that of cooked pork liver, so it is called liver spots and has nothing to do with liver disease.

Ota's spots: Generally, gray-blue mottled patches appear on the upper half of one side of the face, and even the sclera of the eye may have a gray-blue color, with the pigment deep into the dermis.

Age spots: Several to dozens of waxy, rough brown or papules and plaques, which gradually increase in number and size, and are more common in areas exposed to the sun, such as the face and backs of the hands.

Sun spots: oval raised or smooth, dark brown patches that are likely to appear on the outside of the forearms, backs of hands, fronts of the calves and face. They are about the size of a grain of rice to a nickel and begin to appear in middle age.

Light coffee spots: Irregular light brown spots that are usually present at birth.

Laser treatment is more targeted and is a good treatment for pigmentation. The principle of freckle removal is that the laser treatment method is also more effective in removing freckles. The side effects are very small, but it is easy to leave marks. However, as long as you pay attention to sun protection and replenish skin moisture, it will generally not leave scars, and there is generally no damage to the skin. Skin within three months must apply sunscreen. Some pigments will deepen but will fade after three to six months.
