1. When the silicone rubber implant in the nose moves

2. Crooked nose

The part that contacts the nasal bone can be corrected and tilted to one side can be avoided. If the tilt is slight, implanting your own fat into the sunken area will be more effective than undergoing another surgery.

First remove the implanted prosthesis, and then use dermal transplantation, cartilage transplantation, artificial dermis, etc. to protect the nose tip. If the skin of the nose tip becomes very thin, the implant should be removed immediately and surgery should be performed again about 6 months later.

4. When the nose looks unnatural

Most of the time, it is caused by the starting point of the nose bridge. If it is higher than the double eyelid line, the existing prosthesis should be removed and replaced with a lower silicone rubber. On the contrary, if it is too low, a silicone rubber implant that is higher than the existing prosthesis needs to be implanted.

After removing part of the alar cartilage and subcutaneous tissue to reduce the width, the cartilage is concentrated and the nasal septum cartilage is transplanted.

Surgical principles for repairing failed rhinoplasty in Korea:

1. Before a failed rhinoplasty operation, the plastic surgeon will usually carefully observe the patient's failed rhinoplasty situation, and then perform a repair operation on the patient based on the patient's failed rhinoplasty performance.

2. After a failed rhinoplasty operation, the plastic surgeon will redesign a satisfactory nose shape for the patient before performing a rhinoplasty repair.

3. After the rhinoplasty repair fails, the plastic surgeon will choose to use minimally invasive surgical techniques to perform a rhinoplasty repair surgery on the patient to ensure that after the operation is completed, the patient's secondary rhinoplasty surgery wound will not be very obvious.

4. After the rhinoplasty repair surgery, the plastic surgeon will strictly disinfect the surgical wound to prevent infection of the surgical incision, and there will be special nursing staff to provide care for the surgical site for the patient.
