Effects of deionized water on skin

The problem that people often pay attention to nowadays is skin problems. Because many people often suffer from skin diseases or serious skin aging problems. So you should pay attention to taking care of your skin, especially women, who care very much about their skin problems. Once wrinkles or other problems occur on the skin, they want to seek treatment. The condition of the water we use on a daily basis is very important, so we need to pay attention to drinking water. So what are the effects of deionized water on the skin?

Deionized water is pure water that has had salts and some silica and carbon dioxide removed, but there may still be some organic matter in non-ionic form.

Under natural conditions, the ions in water are generally dissolved electrolytes, including cations such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, and anions such as carbonate, sulfate, and chlorate. The presence of these electrolytes can not only cause creams and lotions to clump, but also cause skin aging. Therefore, deionized water must be used in the production of skin care products.

In summer, the hot temperature and dry air-conditioning environment will directly lead to four major problems: dry skin becomes drier, oily skin produces more oil due to dryness, frequent hydration, and easy makeup smearing. Therefore, hydration is the most fundamental way to skin care.

Moisturizing is the most basic function of skin care cosmetics. But most consumers do not lack sufficient knowledge about moisturizing cosmetics. The main ingredients of today's moisturizing cosmetics are water, moisturizers, and oil. Others include surfactants (i.e. emulsifiers), thickeners, preservatives, pharmaceutical agents, fragrances, etc.

Water is the most important ingredient, and deionized water is generally used, accounting for about 30%-50% in creams and about 50%-80% in lotions. Moisturizers are mostly alcohol compounds, such as glycerin, butylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, maltol, and polyethylene glycol. Some of the newly developed high-efficiency moisturizers are more typical of hyaluronic acid and chitin.

It combines the natural moisturizing factor glycerin and the witch hazel ingredient containing various tannins. On the basis of deionized water, it works from two aspects: regulating oil secretion and quickly replenishing water, and comprehensively resisting skin dryness and the "big oil field" phenomenon caused by environmental and temperature changes.
