Easy Homemade Rose Cream Rouge

1. Choose rouge materials

The materials needed are: wild camellia oil (essence oil can be used instead), 5g of red and blue flowers picked with dew in the early morning, 5g of rose (carmine or other red flowers), 3g of pearl powder, 2g of pearl mica, an appropriate amount of rose essential oil, and 0.8g of natural beeswax.

2. Prepare tools and boxes

Tools needed include measuring cups, electronic scales, and grinding mortars. There is also an alcohol lamp for heating and melting the beeswax, a glass cup with a lid to store the liquid brewed from the flowers, and a few small glass bowls for holding the ingredients. If necessary, you can also prepare a mold to suppress the appearance.

3. Preparation

Crush the roses finely, filter out the residue with fine sand, and dry the juice for later use. Mash the red and blue flowers into juice, add clean water, wrap them in gauze and squeeze out the yellow juice, then add the sour chestnut rice washing water and wash them together to dissolve the yellow part, then squeeze it again, and the remaining is the red component. Then soak the rose and red and blue flowers with essential oils and filter the remaining materials.

4. Production process

Before officially starting, all utensils need to be cleaned at high temperature, and the powdered materials need to be ground and mixed according to the proportion. Of course, the finer the better. Pour the liquid used to soak the petals into the mixture and continue grinding. When it becomes a paste-like concentration, you can put it in a box and press it into shape.

5. How to store

Handmade rouge can be used up within one year as long as it is kept dry and hygienic. The rouge and powder used by the ancients are not as mysterious as we think. They just look more beautiful.
