What to do if your facial bones are asymmetrical

What to do if your facial bones are asymmetrical

People who love beauty generally have high demands on themselves and want to face the world in the best condition every day. However, some people find that their facial bones are asymmetrical, and one side of their face is bigger than the other. They have tried many methods but cannot get improvement. They don’t know what to do and it brings troubles to their lives. What should they do about asymmetrical facial bones? Let’s take a look at it next.

1. What should I do if my facial bones are asymmetrical?

If there is some asymmetry between the left and right sides of the face, physical therapy can be used to treat it. The muscles on the side with underdeveloped chewing muscles can be increased to make it symmetrical with the other side. When sleeping, the larger side of the chewing muscle should be against the pillow. You can massage more often to soften the muscles so they don't look so big. You can also improve it through cosmetic surgery.

2. What should you pay attention to in your daily life?

1. If you suddenly find that one side of your face is asymmetrical, and you have had trauma, allergies, or taken medication before, you should pay attention to whether there is a problem with the nerves on one side, causing the muscles on one side to be unable to get enough nutrition and form temporary atrophy. This requires neuromuscular testing. If so, don't worry, as long as the damage is not serious, it is reversible with treatment.

2. Most of us have "crooked faces" to some extent, which is mostly caused by the fact that we usually use the masseter muscle on one side. The solution is, on the one hand, to strengthen the use of the masseter muscle on the opposite side, and on the other hand, to massage the larger side of the face appropriately to make it as symmetrical as possible.

3. Some people like to sleep on their side, while others like to sleep on the table during lunch break, which causes long-term pressure on one side of the face. This is also not good, as it will not only cause facial asymmetry, but also cause many other problems. The solution is as the name suggests, try to choose an appropriate sleeping position.

4. For some people, it is a psychological effect or an illusion caused by the asymmetry of other facial features. I think most of us have some facial asymmetry, but as long as it's not too obvious, we don't need to worry too much about it and affect our normal life. If you really can't get over this hurdle, you can have a minor facial plastic surgery.
