There are several ways to remove moles:

1. Chemical drugs

There are strong acid or strong alkali chemical agents available on the market for cauterization, while hospitals use trichloroacetic acid to remove moles. It is more effective for newly appeared and shallow combined moles, but because the depth is difficult to control, it often causes sunken scars due to excessive burning, or raised scars due to scar-prone constitution.

2. Electrocautery is effective for shallow junctional nevi and deeper, raised compound nevi. The operation is difficult to control and can easily cause scars.

3. freezing

Lasers that selectively treat melanin can selectively act on melanocytes in moles through light of a special wavelength, producing a photothermal effect, thereby destroying the melanocytes and achieving the purpose of removing moles. Depending on the depth of the mole, multiple laser treatments are generally required. The advantage is that the treatment is highly targeted and generally does not leave scars. No special care is required after treatment.
