How to correct protruding teeth?

Because we all know that teeth need to be protected and no food residue should be left in the teeth, otherwise it will cause problems such as tooth decay. Once there is a problem with the teeth, it will not only cause unbearable pain, but also affect gastrointestinal digestion. However, people nowadays often have certain misunderstandings about dental care, which results in dental problems still arising despite regular brushing of teeth.

After eating sweet or sour food, many people tend to brush their teeth immediately, thinking that this will protect their teeth. In fact, doing so will only increase the damage to your teeth. Professor Shu explained that there is a layer of enamel on the surface of the crown. Sour and sweet foods will corrode the teeth and make the enamel soft.

If you brush your teeth immediately at this time, it will not only fail to clean your teeth, but will also aggravate the wear of your teeth and cause damage to the enamel. Therefore, after meals, especially after eating sweet and sour foods, you can generally rinse your mouth with clean water and brush your teeth after 1-2 hours. Many people think that if their teeth don’t hurt, they don’t need to see a doctor. This is also a wrong idea.

The structure of teeth is particular. It is difficult to detect tooth damage in its early stages. Pain will only occur when the damage reaches the inside of the tooth. At this point, treatment becomes much more difficult. Therefore, experts and scholars generally recommend that going to the hospital for a dental check-up every six months can prevent and detect dental problems early. Many of people's habits are more or less harmful to teeth. For example, incorrect use of toothpicks will cause damage to the gums. The use of toothpicks should be carried out under the doctor's instructions. The toothpick should be inserted into the gap between teeth at a certain angle. Generally speaking, the upper teeth should be inserted from the top to the bottom, and enter the gap between teeth at a 45-degree angle along the gums, while the lower teeth should be inserted from the bottom to the top.

If you want to protect your teeth, you must have the correct care concept. Improper care will lead to the occurrence of dental diseases. If you brush your teeth right after eating, the protective layer of your teeth will be damaged, which will give germs an opportunity to invade. So don't brush your teeth right after a meal. It's better to rinse your mouth with clean water after a meal.
