How to exfoliate is an essential part of skin care nowadays. With the changes in living environment, our daily routines have become irregular. Often staying up late, smoking and drinking will cause great changes in our skin. The keratin on the surface of the skin cannot fall off naturally. We can only rely on exfoliation ourselves to allow the skin to breathe air better and achieve our ideal skin quality. Especially with the change of seasons, the skin becomes rougher, the stratum corneum cannot be metabolized well, or the cosmetics we use are not suitable for our skin type, which may affect the shedding of keratin and make our skin look dull. We need to exfoliate, but exfoliation should not be too frequent. Once every two weeks is enough. Exfoliating too frequently may damage the skin and be counterproductive. Exfoliating Skin Selection 1Young and soft skin. For healthy young skin, the metabolism of keratinocytes is normal, so there is no need to exfoliate specifically. Even if you occasionally look tired, or your skin looks a little dark or stuffy due to insufficient sun protection, you will recover quickly as long as you get enough rest. This process usually falls off naturally with age or time, so there is no need to exfoliate. 2. Take good care of your skin. Even if you are not very young, as long as you take good care of yourself and regularly use skin care products that can enhance cell vitality and promote metabolism for deep care, making your skin soft and moisturized, there is still no need to exfoliate specifically. Only those with extremely oily, thick and rough skin (mostly men) need regular exfoliation to promote skin renewal. 3. Red bloodshot skin. No matter whether the skin with red blood streaks is dry or oily, it is the skin with a very thin epidermis and damaged hydrolipidic barrier function, so it is particularly susceptible to external invasion and causes irritation and allergies. For such skin, even if the skin test shows the presence of dead skin cells, do not exfoliate, which is also a kind of protection for skin care. 4. Acne-prone skin. Many people think that acne and blackheads are caused by excessive oil secretion and clogged pores, so they use cleansing masks to enhance exfoliation. In fact, this is not the case. The excessive keratinization of acne skin is limited to the excessive keratinization of the cells in the sebaceous gland ducts of the hair follicles. No special exfoliation is required. You only need to use special acne-removing products to unclog the keratin accumulation in the pores and to fight bacteria and inflammation. The correct steps for exfoliation 1. Clean your entire face with facial cleanser. Use a facial cleanser containing silk collagen, dendrobium, Glehnia littoralis extract, aloe vera and other Chinese herbal essence ingredients to cleanse your face. Clean the T-zone and forehead with circular motions from bottom to top. For the sides of the nose in the T-zone, rub in circles from the very bottom of the nose to the tip of the nose. For the cheeks, use large circles from bottom to top. 2 Start from the tip of the nose which is most prone to oiliness, and gently rub the exfoliating cream on your fingertips. The temperature of your fingers can make it easier for the exfoliating cream to dissolve the keratin plugs on the tip of the nose. Massage the sides of the nose in a circular motion. Use the fingertips of both hands to massage the bridge of the nose alternately up and down for 2-3 minutes. The operation time should not be too long. 3. Clean the chin where dead skin cells are accumulated. The lymph nodes on both sides of the chin need to be massaged in circles frequently with exfoliating products. In addition, pressing the two bones next to the cheeks with the joints of your fingers can eliminate dullness and slim the face. 4 The forehead is also a severely affected area and needs to be cleaned carefully. Improper cleaning can easily cause clogged pores and acne on the forehead. Therefore, when exfoliating, you should start from the corners of the eyes to the forehead, and then from the forehead back to the corners of the eyes, and massage in circles in this way three times. 5. The cheeks are prone to allergies, so when exfoliating, just brush gently. Be careful to avoid exfoliating too hard and using exfoliating creams with coarse abrasive particles. 6. Wipe it off with a cotton pad, apply astringent and lotion on the entire face. After exfoliating, use a cotton pad to evenly pat your cheeks to wipe off excess exfoliating cream. Finally, apply astringent lotion and emulsion on the skin. We basically know how to exfoliate, but if you have acne on your face, try not to exfoliate, and after completing the exfoliation procedure, you must take good care of your skin to better protect our skin. |
