The efficacy and function of tea leaves for washing face

Tea contains tea polyphenols. Washing your face with tea has antioxidant effects and can prevent skin aging. Tea can also resist radiation, especially for women who use computers for a long time. It can inhibit skin pigmentation and reduce allergic reactions, which is very good, but it is not recommended to use tea leaves to wash your face for a long time. This is not a long-term solution. It is better to find a facial cleanser that suits you.

1. Tea is rich in tea polyphenols , which have antioxidant effects and can effectively prevent skin aging. Tea can also resist radiation and is especially suitable for female friends who use computers for a long time. Washing your face with tea water can inhibit the deposition of skin pigmentation and reduce allergic reactions. In addition, the tannic acid contained in tea can relieve dry skin and is also very suitable for children with eczema.

2. Among all teas , green tea has the richest content of tea polyphenols. Therefore, it is recommended that you wash your face frequently with green tea water. Washing your face or taking a bath with tea water can reduce the risk of skin diseases and make your skin shiny, smooth and soft. Dip gauze in tea water and apply it to the dark circles around the eyes, 1-2 times a day, each time for about 20-30 minutes, which can effectively eliminate the dark circles around the eyes. Using tea water and the tea residue to wash your hands and feet can also prevent and treat chapped skin, eczema, relieve itching, and reduce foot odor caused by sweaty feet.

3. After washing your face at night , make a cup of tea, apply the tea water on your face, and then gently pat your face, or put cotton cloth dipped in tea water on your face, and then wash your face with clean water after about 20 minutes. Persisting in doing this can effectively remove facial spots and make your skin delicate and shiny.

Other functions of tea water

In addition to washing your face, tea water has many other uses for washing your hair and soaking your feet. Tea contains a large amount of tannic acid, which has a strong bactericidal effect, especially effective against filamentous fungi that cause athlete's foot. Therefore, people suffering from athlete's foot can boil tea leaves into thick juice and soak their feet in it every night, and the foot will be cured over time. However, soaking your feet in tea water requires persistence; there will be no significant effect in a short period of time. It is best to use green tea. Fermented black tea contains much less tannin.
