There are many benefits of using chlorpheniramine on the face

Chlorpheniramine is a medicine, and it has certain effects on certain diseases. It has a wide range of uses, including the use of Chlorpheniramine on the face. Chlorpheniramine on the face can also treat certain diseases on our skin, including some allergic diseases. So, are there many benefits of using Chlorpheniramine on the face?

Chlorpheniramine is one of the strongest antihistamines. Its sedative effect is weaker than that of promethazine, and it also has certain anticholine effects. It is similar to diphenhydramine but has a milder CNS depressant effect. It may induce epilepsy and is contraindicated in patients with epilepsy. Use with caution in lactating women, patients with glaucoma, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, and prostatic hypertrophy. During the medication period, you are not allowed to drive a car, boat, airplane or other motor vehicle or operate any machinery.

Chlorpheniramine is suitable for skin allergies: urticaria, eczema, dermatitis, drug rash, pruritus, neurodermatitis, insect bites, solar dermatitis. It can also be used for allergic rhinitis, drug and food allergies.

In addition to its strong competitive blocking effect on histamine H1 receptors on allergic target cells and its anti-allergic effect through antagonism of H1 receptors, chlorpheniramine also has anti-M choline receptor effects. Therefore, symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation, thickened sputum, and dry nasal mucosa may occur after taking the medicine. In addition, this drug also has a certain inhibitory effect on the central nervous system, so adverse reactions such as drowsiness may occur after taking the drug.

Long-term use of chlorpheniramine may cause adverse reactions such as obvious drowsiness and palpitations, anticholine side effects such as dry mouth, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, or skin bruises and bleeding tendency. Palpitations may be related to torsades de pointes and should be used as a warning.

Secondly, long-term use of promethazine will increase the body's resistance to the drug, so the desired effect will not be achieved next time the drug is used. Therefore, it is recommended that patients stop taking medication once their condition improves and avoid developing drug dependence.

The key to treating skin and sexually transmitted diseases is to prescribe the right medicine. Through the personal experience of many patients, it has been proven that chlorpheniramine is quite effective in treating skin and sexually transmitted diseases.
