Can the smudged eyeliner be metabolized?

In daily life, beautiful appearance is very important for girls. We often put on makeup, and when we put on makeup, we often apply eyeliner. Some people think it is troublesome to apply eyeliner frequently, so they go to some beauty salons to get eyeliner tattooed. A well-made eyeliner will not fade, but the eyeliner made by some small beauty salons will fade. The blurred eyeliner will be metabolized over time.

Will the color of the eyeliner fade?

Generally speaking, the color of the eyeliner will not fade, but in some informal beauty salons, the color may fade.

In layman's terms, color blurring means that the contact lens liner appears thick, bold, and fuzzy, like a caterpillar. This is a blurred contact lens liner.

In the field of tattooing, color halo refers to the phenomenon that after the pigment enters the human skin, the pigment particles diffuse from the dense area to the surrounding area due to the action of the human body, causing the original color block to become larger and lighter. After the pigments that enter the skin fade and discolor, the remaining pigment particles are larger and the chemical properties are stable, which basically cannot be eliminated by the body's own functions. However, this does not mean that the pigments deposited in the skin stop metabolizing due to attacks from all aspects of the human body. Their existence form is still constantly affected, such as the flushing of body fluids, the squeezing when new and old cells replace each other, and the deformation of human tissues caused by aging. These influences will cause the pigment particles to continue to diffuse from dense areas (where the color is dark) to the periphery, eventually causing the color blocks to become larger and lighter, forming a halo. Color blurring, like fading, is a gradual process, but the two are not necessarily synchronized. It begins from the moment the pigment enters the skin and lasts until the end of its life, but the subcutaneous tissue blurs much faster than the dermis. The color halo phenomenon is like a pile of sand placed in the water. After a long time, it is no longer a pile but a piece.

Why does the color of the eyeliner fade?

1. Instant color blur. Instantaneous color blurring refers to the blurring of newly made lines within just a few seconds. In severe cases, it may even affect areas 2 cm away from the wound. Although the color is not very strong, it has a clear difference from the flesh color. This kind of color blurring is most likely to occur when the doctor's technique is unprofessional. The reason is that the operator, worried about poor coloring, turns up the frequency of the machine and forces the needle deep into the skin. In addition, the manual speed is too slow or there are hesitations and pauses, causing a large amount of liquid pigment to be injected into the skin and merge into the numerous capillaries (tiny blood vessels), flowing everywhere with the blood. This phenomenon is particularly evident in individuals with thin skin and abundant capillaries.

2. Short-term discoloration. This color blur is the most common and most difficult to overcome phenomenon in eyebrow operations, and it covers almost all tattoo line operations. Normal contact lens tattooing techniques usually do not damage the subcutaneous tissue, so the exaggerated instantaneous color blur is unlikely to occur. But since it is traumatic pigmentation, it is difficult to avoid damaging the microvessels and lymphatic vessels in the dermis. Although the number and size of the microvessels and lymphatic vessels in the epidermis are smaller than those in the subcutaneous tissue, they still have their own destructive power on the physical properties of the pigment particles gathered there. At the same time, after the line operation is completed, the pigment particles are surrounded by the tissue cells where they are located. With the self-repair of the skin tissue and the body's rejection reaction, a part of them, together with the necrotic cells, form a scab (skin) along with platelets, lymph fluid, etc. and directly fall off the skin. After the wound heals, the combination of some pigment particles and tissue cells is still very fragile. The attack of phagocytes, the flushing of body fluids (including blood and lymph), the effect of rejection reaction, etc. will constantly damage those fragile links. The result of this destruction is that those unstable pigment particles, especially the small pigment particles, will constantly move away from their original positions and constantly combine with other tissue cells until they re-form a relatively strong combination. If these changes occur in the center of the color block, they may not be enough to cause visual difference. However, at the edge of the color block, when the number of pigment particles that leave their original position and diffuse toward the periphery of the color block reaches a certain degree, the color halo will appear.

The peak period of short-term color bleeding is often within half a year. Since most of the pigment particles that are pushed to the edge of the color block and cause the color bleeding are tiny particles, they are the preferred targets of attack by phagocytes. Therefore, this type of color bleeding disappears quickly. It is usually very light one year after recovery, and some can even be absorbed completely.

3. Long-term discoloration. Long-term color bleeding refers to the color bleeding phenomenon that occurs slowly and lasts for a long time. Long-term color bleeding actually also includes short-term color bleeding, but the pigment particles diffused in the short term do not reach the basic amount for display. Old masters who have been in the industry for more than ten years should have a personal experience of this kind of color blur. The early old-style eyeliner is a typical example. At that time, the eyeliner pigments were basically large-grained pigments used for tattoos. The work done by craftsmen with higher technical levels would still be quite pleasing to the eye within one or two years, but would become rather worse after three or four years, and after five or six years, the lines would basically be invisible. In contrast to small-particle pigments, large-particle pigments have the advantages of large volume and mass. They can "implant" easily and form a relatively strong combination with tissue cells. They have a certain resistance to various destructive forces, will not easily move, and diffuse slowly. Furthermore, the human body's phagocytes are helpless against such large-particle pigments. After a certain period of time, the pigment particles will not change in number, so the color halo will continue, although it will become weaker as time goes by.

Of course, the plant pigments used in today’s contact lens liner will be naturally absorbed and metabolized by the human body, and the chance of long-term discoloration is very low, unless you choose a non-professional institution that uses unqualified pigments, which will cause long-term discoloration.

Can the color of the contact lens be removed? Yes, it can be removed naturally.

Generally speaking, eyeliners use pigments extracted from plants, which will be absorbed and metabolized by the human body as the body metabolizes.

How long will it take for the color of the contact lens to fade? About 2-3 years.

Because everyone's physique is different, the time it takes for the color of the eyeliner to fade will also be different. It depends on the speed of one’s metabolism. Generally, it will disappear naturally in 2-3 years.

What to do if the color of the eyelid line is blurred

Use a fading solution

To use the fading liquid, after applying the anesthetic to the eyes, use an empty needle to dip the fading liquid and repeatedly move the needle back and forth on the area that needs to fade. The fading liquid will cause a stinging sensation when it enters the skin. After moving the needle back and forth dozens of times, finally apply a layer of fading liquid on the blurred area.

This method is usually suitable for instant color blurring. If you find color blurring when tattooing the eyelid line, you can use fading liquid in time. After a month of scab formation, the wrong place will fade completely.

Covering method

This method is the same as when tattooing eyeliner, except that this time a pigment close to the skin color is used to tattoo over the original halo color.

Laser method

Laser eyeliner removal uses high-tech laser equipment to irradiate the tattooed area with a specific wavelength, causing the pigment in the skin to instantly vaporize or explode and shatter, breaking it into tiny particles that are swallowed up by phagocytes in the body and excreted from the body without causing damage to the surrounding normal skin and hair. Laser treatment for removing discoloration from the eyelid line is quick and convenient, only takes one to two minutes, is painless, has obvious effects, and leaves no scars, thus ideally repairing failed eyelid lines. For some patients whose tattoos are too dark, laser treatment is recommended to be divided into two treatments, with an interval of three to six months between the two treatments.

This method does not damage other skin tissues and leaves no scars after the operation. It is the best way to clean eyeliner, but it is a little more expensive.

Natural fading of isochromatic colors

Korean semi-permanent eyeliners are made of plant-extracted pigments, which are different from the old-fashioned eyeliners that will turn blue over time and stay forever. The pigment of the eye liner will be absorbed and metabolized by the human body as the body metabolizes, and will fade away naturally in about 2-3 years depending on each person's physical condition.

How to avoid blurring of color when using eyeliner

After the eyeliner is smudged, it should be faded in time. If it cannot be faded, it will be difficult to deal with. Therefore, when applying eyeliner, you must try to avoid color blurring.
