Salicylic acid for chicken skin

Salicylic acid for chicken skin

People with chicken skin know that chicken skin not only looks ugly, but also feels frosted when touched with the hands, so they always try various methods to remove chicken skin. Using salicylic acid ointment is a good way to treat chicken skin, and many people choose to use salicylic acid ointment. However, we must be careful not to blindly use salicylic acid ointment, as it may cause allergic reactions and may even damage the skin. So use it with caution.

① Chicken skin is caused by keratinization of hair follicles. Salicylic acid ointment has the effect of softening the skin's keratin. It can be applied appropriately to treat severe keratinization of hair follicles. However, this is only a temporary treatment to soften the keratin. Excessive use of salicylic acid may cause skin damage due to its corrosive effect.

②Salicylic acid ointment can treat chicken skin, and the effect is quite good, but it cannot be used for a long time, otherwise it will cause adverse reactions.

③Salicylic acid ointment is a yellow ointment, mainly used for the treatment of psoriasis, superficial fungal diseases of the skin, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, corns, warts and calluses, etc. After large-area use and absorption, symptoms of systemic salicylic acid poisoning may occur, such as dizziness, confusion, shortness of breath, persistent tinnitus, and severe or persistent headaches. The combination of salicylic acid ointment and corticosteroids can increase the latter's penetration into the skin, thereby increasing the therapeutic effect. The combined use of salicylic acid ointment and anthralin can increase the stability of the latter and prevent anthralin oxidation.

⑤ During the illness, eat more foods rich in vitamin C and vitamin A, such as tomatoes, oranges, lemons, hawthorns, citrus, green vegetables, sweet potatoes, tangerines, carrots, etc. Vitamin C can reduce melanin deposition in the skin, reduce pigmentation in chicken skin areas, and accelerate the restoration and whitening of the skin. You should also pay attention to the nutrition and moisture of your skin. When your skin is in a harsh environment, you must take good protection to avoid clogging of the pores. Take a bath frequently to keep your skin clean and hygienic.

⑤From this we can know that salicylic acid ointment can treat diseases such as chicken skin. If you want to completely cure chicken skin, you must insist on taking the medication and don't "fish for three days and dry the net for two days". This will not effectively cure chicken skin.
