How to use a foundation brush correctly

Step 1: First use the foundation brush to dip into the intermediate color, which is close to the skin color, and apply it evenly above the cheekbones.

Step 2: Then apply light-colored foundation on the cheekbones and protruding areas of the face. Make sure the transition between light and dark foundation is even to highlight the three-dimensional effect of the face.

After applying the foundation, gently press your face with your hands to make the foundation adhere better to your face. Sometimes, for convenience and simplicity, you can also use two colors of foundation: a normal color and a foundation one level darker than it, and apply the normal color to the entire face.

Step 4: Use your ring finger to gently apply liquid foundation around the eyes to cover eye bags and dark circles, then apply white highlight from below the front corner of the eye to above the cheekbone.

Step 5: Use your ring finger to dip a little concealer and gently apply it on the sides of the nose. Apply a one-level darker foundation on the sides of the face (from the temples in front of the ears to the jawline).

Step 6: After applying foundation, you can use contouring powder to modify the contours of your cheeks. Apply dark contouring powder on the cheekbones near the ears to increase the shadow effect on your face.

Step 7: Start from the cheekbones and apply brown shadow powder diagonally downwards to enhance the three-dimensional effect of the face. In this way, the shadow can be used to achieve the purpose of shaving the cheek corners.
