How to make lipstick ratio formula

1 First, sterilize the lipstick tube and beaker by scalding them in boiling water.

2. Turn the ironed lipstick tube upside down in a clean place to dry.

3 Pour the white shea butter and beeswax particles into a beaker and heat over water to melt them.

4 Wait until it is completely melted and stir evenly.

5 After melting, add base oil, sweet orange essential oil, and VE mixed formula oil and heat them together.

6Stir until fully blended.

7 Stir evenly, then take out the beaker, wait for a while until the wall of the beaker cools down slightly before putting it into the lipstick bottle.

8 Don’t fill it all at once, as it will collapse after cooling. Leave about the height of a fingernail.

9 Wait for a while until the lipstick is slightly frozen and then fill the can with the remaining volume. The time interval between the two canning should not be too long, otherwise it will separate into layers. You can start canning when the outside looks frozen.

10 Finally, let it sit until the lipstick is fully formed.

Tips for making lipstick ratio formula:

1. All the raw materials can be purchased online, so it’s difficult for me to recommend one. Just search “DIY lipstick” online and you’ll find a lot of them, all similar. You can also mix it according to your own preferences. The simplest way is to use only olive oil and beeswax, and 20% of the beeswax is enough for the oil. I also made a mint cream, and I will post the pictures after I have organized them.

2. The lipstick tube I used should hold 4-5 grams. At the end, there was a little less, but it was basically full.

3. You can use hot water to disinfect the lipstick tube, but do not exceed 60 degrees. Otherwise it will deform. I think it is a bit troublesome, so I used a cotton swab dipped in 75% alcohol to wipe it, which will dry faster.

4. It can be stored in the refrigerator. According to the introduction online, it can be stored for one year at room temperature and for two years in the refrigerator. I have not verified the specific time.

5. When using, just spin out a little bit. Because it contains lemon essential oil, it is not suitable for pregnant women and babies.

6. When filling lipstick, fill it in two times so that there will be no dent in the middle. The first time, fill it to the top of the middle stick, and the second time, fill it up. It will be a round and complete lipstick without small holes. Because of thermal expansion and contraction, it looks like it is full at first, but in fact the oil will be concave after solidification. In order to look better, the secondary re-filling method should be used. In fact, I was planning to do this at the time, mainly because I had a little amount, and in the end the sixth stick was not filled, so there was no extra amount to fill it a second time. You can pay attention to this problem when doing it.
