Can Toceramine treat melasma?

Speaking of chloasma, everyone knows that this is a relatively common skin disease, and it is recognized as a stubborn disease that is difficult to cure. Despite this, patients are doing their utmost to treat it, just to get rid of it from their faces. However, there are many methods, but few are really effective. At this time, a drug for treating chloasma, toceramine, has quietly emerged. Can it cure chloasma? Let's get to know toceramine today.

A decades-old drug for the treatment of melasma has quietly gained popularity. This drug is toseramine, and its chemical name is tranexamic acid. Speaking of tranexamic acid, some people may have some impression. Isn't this the ingredient in the whitening injection that Big S mentioned? Indeed, the main ingredient of Big S's whitening injection is tranexamic acid, also known as tranexamic acid, in addition to glutathione, VitC, creatinine, etc. As for the role of tranexamic acid in whitening injections, no one could explain it clearly until the use of toceramine, which attracted people's attention.

Tosermine is an ancient coagulant, mainly used for various bleeding caused by acute or chronic, localized or systemic primary hyperfibrinolysis. Secondary hyperfibrinolytic state caused by disseminated intravascular coagulation is a widely used hemostatic drug. This drug was first used to treat melasma in Japan. Tranexamic acid is not only used in clinical practice, but also in whitening cosmetics. One of the possible mechanisms is that tranexamic acid (1,5-diaminohexanoic acid) is similar in structure to the tyrosine part involved in melanin metabolism, and they share a carboxyl group, which can competitively inhibit tyrosinase and thus reduce the formation of melanin protein. The effect of long-term oral administration of low-dose tolcerin in treating melasma is very positive, but there are no systematic reports in China.

Our clinical research shows that to quickly treat melasma, you should first get a whitening injection and then take tolcerin orally. The effect is better than oral administration alone and the treatment period is shorter.
