Dietary regulation and prevention of bronchitis

Bronchitis refers to a disease in which the trachea or bronchial mucosa and surrounding tissues become inflamed. After suffering from bronchitis, you will experience recurrent coughing, sometimes with dry coughs and sometimes with white sputum. As time goes by, the cough will become more severe, and even when you are not coughing, it will always be accompanied by severe wheezing, which has a great impact on your life.

Diet conditioning:

The food should be light: fresh vegetables, such as cabbage, spinach, rapeseed, radish, carrot, tomato, cucumber, winter melon, etc., can not only supplement the supply of various vitamins and inorganic salts, but also have the functions of clearing phlegm, removing heat, and promoting bowel movements.

Avoid seafood and spicy food.

Prevention of bronchitis:

1. Prevent sports allergies

Except for serious illness, appropriate physical exercise, breathing exercises, Tai Chi, and Qigong should be performed to enhance the body's disease resistance and promote disease stability and improvement. Exercising in winter, especially half an hour after strenuous exercise, is prone to motion allergy. 6% to 8% of athletes have experienced sports allergies when exercising outdoors in winter. Older people and women are more likely to experience exercise-induced allergic reactions.

2. Avoid large temperature differences

The stuffiness in the room due to heating, poor air circulation, and the increased temperature difference between inside and outside are important reasons why it is easy to catch a cold in winter. Therefore, it is recommended that the room should not be too hot in winter, the air conditioner and heater should be turned on appropriately, and attention should be paid to adjusting the temperature in time by using exhaust fans or opening windows to keep the indoor air fresh and the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor is not too large. At the same time, when entering and leaving the room, you should add or remove clothes in time to adapt to environmental changes and prevent illness.

3. Limit smoking and improve the environment

Smoking is an important cause of tracheitis and chronic bronchitis. Smoke can also cause harm to people around. We should vigorously publicize the harmfulness of smoking and educate young people to stop smoking. At the same time, strengthen personal hygiene, including physical exercise, breathing and cold-resistant exercises to enhance physical fitness, improve disease resistance, prevent colds, and prevent recurrence of diseases. Improve environmental sanitation, treat "three wastes" and eliminate air pollution.
