You should understand these precautions when using fruit acid peels

Fruit acid peeling is a common beauty technique. There will be a slight tingling and burning sensation immediately after it is completed. The facial skin will be tight, similar to peeling and slight scarring. Within one week after the peeling, you can only wash your face with clean water and pat dry with a towel. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the skin tissue. You can only wash your face with skin care products after the skin returns to normal. In terms of diet, pay attention to eating light food and protect your face when going out.

During this recovery period, you may experience the following symptoms: mild irritation, itching, burning, mild pain, tightness on your face, peeling, or mild scarring.

1. Within 1-7 days after the peel, wash your face with water only, pat dry with a towel (avoid rubbing the skin hard), and use ointment or nourishing cream as directed by the doctor after washing your face (once in the morning and once in the evening) until your skin returns to normal.

2. When your skin returns to normal after about 1-7 days, you can stop using ointments or nourishing creams and start gently washing your face with cleansing products (but do not wipe hard with a sponge or towel, pat it dry gently to avoid irritating the skin); and you can resume using your original fruit acid care cream, fruit acid lotion or fruit acid gel once every night.

3. Avoid sun exposure until your skin returns to normal (do not use sunscreen lotion to avoid further skin irritation, and do not wear a hat to avoid scarring on the brim of the hat). After returning to normal, if you want to go out, it is best to use sunscreen lotion every morning to prevent ultraviolet rays from causing pigmentation.

4. To avoid scarring, do not shave, peel off scabs, scratch itchy skin, apply facial masks, wear a hat, etc. before your skin returns to normal.
