How to control oil on your face

Whether it is oily skin, mixed skin or neutral skin, the face is usually more oily. Excessive oil secretion on the face is really annoying and depressing. The oily face is very unsightly, not to mention that it is not timely to control and remove oil, resulting in blackheads, acne, and regeneration of acne, which is really annoying. So, how to control oil on the facial skin?

1. Get up early and wash up. You can use an oil-control cleanser suitable for combination skin to wash your face to balance oil secretion. Face feels refreshed without being overly dry. It is not recommended to use facial scrub skin care products to exfoliate. First, it will stimulate the sebaceous glands to secrete more oil. Second, the stratum corneum is an important line of defense against ultraviolet rays. Once damaged, the skin will easily turn red and black. For those with acne, after the inflammation is eliminated, it is more likely to leave black acne marks.

2. Refreshing makeup. Before applying makeup, you can use toner containing ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin B2, vitamin B6 and vitamin E, which can have antioxidant, whitening and anti-wrinkle effects.

When applying makeup, try to choose mascara, liquid foundation, cream foundation, etc. that are sweat-proof and non-fading, and it is best if they have the ability to protect against ultraviolet rays. Do not use cosmetics with too high an oil content.

Finally, you can apply oil-removing powder, but be careful not to apply it too thickly to avoid leaving white marks.

3. Pay attention to breakfast. When vitamin A and zinc work together, they can not only inhibit epithelial cell proliferation and excessive keratinization of hair follicles, but also regulate sweat gland secretion and reduce the erosion of skin by acidic metabolites.

Foods rich in vitamin A that are suitable for breakfast include yogurt, tomatoes, etc.

4. Morning time. Although you are sitting indoors to work or study, your brain is working quickly due to communication and thinking, your metabolism starts to speed up, and your face is unconsciously secreting oil. During your free time, you can go to the bathroom or tea room to simply refresh your face: first use oil-absorbing paper to absorb the oil on the surface of your face, then use a makeup sprayer to simply moisturize your face (mix lemon juice and green tea water with boiled water the day before, bottle it and put it in the refrigerator. Put it in the makeup sprayer and carry it with you in the morning), finally use a small cotton towel (do not use paper towels, as they contain bleach and other substances) to gently wipe off the water droplets.

5. Pay attention to lunch. High-fiber vegetables can promote gastrointestinal motility, speed up metabolism, prevent constipation (people with constipation often have excessive oily faces and are prone to acne), and excrete excess oil from the body as soon as possible. Common high-fiber foods include whole grains, soybeans, bamboo shoots, celery, cabbage, etc.

In addition, if you already have acne, you need to take appropriate zinc supplements to increase your resistance, accelerate protein synthesis and cell regeneration, and promote acne healing. Common foods rich in zinc include corn, lentils, soybeans, radishes, mushrooms, scallops, etc.

6. Afternoon time. A new round of work or study has begun, and the excitement is not as high as in the morning, but the time is often longer than in the morning. The simplest and most convenient way to refresh your mind and skin is to drink green tea.

The main components of tea are tea polyphenols, caffeine, etc. Tea polyphenols are water-soluble substances. Washing your face with them can remove facial oiliness, tighten pores, and have the effects of disinfection/sterilization/anti-skin aging. At the same time, they can reduce ultraviolet radiation in sunlight and radiation from computers. The caffeine in tea can stimulate the central nervous system of the human body.
