How to improve oily skin: learn to control oil first

1. Wash your face with warm water

Washing your face with cold water for oily skin will cause the pores of the facial skin to shrink, so that the oil and sweat in the pores cannot be cleaned out in time. The result of this will cause the pores of the skin to expand. The correct way is to use warm water. It can ensure that the pores are fully opened without causing excessive loss of the skin's natural moisturizing oil. When cleansing your face, choose warm water. 2. Use a mild facial cleanser

Many girls with oily skin like to use alkaline facial cleansers with very strong cleansing ability to control oil. However, they don’t know that this type of facial cleanser is very harmful to the skin. It is best for oily skin to choose a mild, weakly acidic facial cleanser.

3. Do not wash your face more than three times a day

Washing your face frequently will not only deprive your skin of moisture, but it will also cause your skin to continuously secrete more oil to replenish the lost oil, creating a vicious cycle of "the more you control, the oilier your skin becomes." Therefore, people with oily skin only need to cleanse their skin thoroughly in the morning and evening in autumn. If the skin is too oily, you can clean it once more at noon.

4. Exfoliate once a week

The skin tends to be sensitive and fragile, so reduce the frequency of exfoliation to once a week. Use an abrasive cleanser to deep clean your skin, which can thoroughly remove oil, dead cells on the skin's surface and dirt in the pores.

5. Always remember to hydrate your skin

Oily skin is caused by lack of water in the skin, so the key to improving oily skin is to replenish water in large quantities. Not only should you drink 800CC of water every day, you should also pat your facial skin with extra water. You can go to a regular supermarket to buy professional oil-control toner, and apply it on your face over and over again after washing your face every night. If you stick to taping for twenty minutes each time, you will find that your skin becomes hydrated and the fine lines seem to disappear.

6. Avoid eating foods high in fat in your daily diet

Foods high in oil content stimulate our skin to produce more oil. It is recommended to eat more vegetables and fruits, such as mango, tomato, kiwi, etc., which not only supplement the necessary vitamins for the human body, but also help improve skin quality and make the skin shiny and delicate.
