Generally, the excision direction is selected according to the direction of the skin texture. The skin is cut open with a diamond-shaped incision. The excision range is the lesion and the surrounding 0.2 to 0.5 cm of tissue. For those with a tendency to malignancy, the range can be appropriately expanded.
