What are the side effects of facial fillers?

As the demands of modern people become higher and higher, the scope of medical cosmetic technology is also getting wider and wider. So this gives many people who want to become beautiful an opportunity, and some people find that their cheeks are too sunken, so they choose to get facial fillers. There are many ways to fill the face, including injecting hyaluronic acid or fat. However, facial fillers can easily cause side effects. Next, I will introduce to female friends what the side effects of facial fillers are.

Since the fat particles need to be taken from the patient's own body, the side effects of autologous fat particle injection and transplantation for cheek augmentation are relatively more, as follows:

1. Infection: There is a possibility of infection during surgery, which usually occurs 5-7 days later. If infection occurs, seek medical attention promptly.

2. Hematoma: There is a possibility of bleeding during surgery. If the coagulation function is impaired due to damage to small blood vessels during surgery, hematoma will form. Anticoagulant drugs are prohibited before and after surgery.

3. Itching: You may experience itching after the operation, which does not occur frequently and will gradually subside.

4. Skin ecchymosis: After suction, the local potential wound surface is larger, and too many cavities will cause blood exudation.

5. Skin necrosis: Surgery may cause local skin necrosis.

6. Local skin unevenness: Generally, it can be adjusted by itself 3-6 months after surgery. If it is not perfect yet, you should be admitted to the hospital for corrective treatment.

7. Subcutaneous fluid accumulation after liposuction: caused by poor venous return.

8. Lipoma formation: due to the accumulation of fat cells under the skin.

9. Fat liquefaction: Too much fat tissue is injected, or the fat tissue naturally aggregates into lumps after injection, resulting in the failure of the injected fat to survive, causing fat necrosis and liquefaction. If fat liquefaction occurs, you need to go to the hospital for puncture to extract the fluid, or negative pressure drainage.

10. Fat absorption: After fat particles are transplanted, part of them will be absorbed by the tissues, and multiple implantations are required to achieve better results.
