Facial bone reshaping

Facial bone reshaping

With the improvement of living standards, people have more time and energy to take care of their appearance. In addition, the maturity of modern medical plastic surgery technology has made people bolder in adjusting their image. For example, facial bones have a great impact on people's image. You can choose to use facial bone plastic surgery to optimize it. Let's take a look at what you should pay attention to before and after facial bone plastic surgery?

1. Preoperative Preparation

(1) The applicant must be in good health and free from organic diseases of important organs, such as heart disease, hepatitis, nephritis, pneumonia, etc.

(2) No sources of oral infection, such as caries, periodontitis, oral ulcers, etc.

(3) Women should avoid surgery during the menstrual period.

(4) Routine blood and urine tests, chest X-ray, electrocardiogram and other routine health examinations should also be performed before surgery.

(5) Routinely take frontal and lateral head photographs for postoperative comparison and efficacy assessment. If conditions permit, a three-dimensional head CT scan can be performed. Take a maxillary X-ray to understand the development of the maxillary sinus.

(6) Stop smoking before surgery. Aspirin, birth control pills, and certain anti-inflammatory drugs can increase bleeding, so these drugs should be stopped some time before surgery.

2. Postoperative precautions

(1) Use antibiotics as directed by your doctor and take oral analgesics if necessary.

(2) Avoid spicy or irritating foods, such as tobacco, alcohol, and chili peppers.

(3) Ensure the surgical site is clean to prevent infection.

(4) Try to avoid making dramatic facial expressions within one week after face lift surgery.

(5) Do not wear frame glasses within one week after rhinoplasty surgery and avoid strenuous exercise within 1 day. Swelling will be more obvious 3 days after surgery and will start to subside on the 4th day.

(6) Keep your eyes clean after blepharoplasty. You can use eye drops to clean your eyes. If you have any vision problems, contact your doctor immediately.

(7) After oral surgery (including chin augmentation, lip surgery, etc.), you should eat semi-fluid food within one week after surgery and must rinse your mouth with mouthwash after meals for 3 to 5 days.

(8) Generally, the stitches are removed 3 to 7 days after surgery. When removing the stitches, care should be taken to protect the wound and avoid trauma.

(9) Come to the hospital for follow-up examination according to the doctor’s instructions after surgery.
