Does double eyelid suture surgery hurt?

Everyone loves beauty, and it is women's nature. Many women hope to have a perfect face. Unfortunately, imagination is beautiful, but reality is cruel. In life, we see many people undergoing surgery to make their faces more perfect, among which double eyelids are the most popular. Our aesthetic concepts are similar, and most people think that double eyelids look more beautiful. For this reason, many women start tinkering with it. However, the pain of surgery makes many people who love beauty a little panicked.

Buried suture double eyelid is a cosmetic procedure. This method is suitable for young people with large palpebral fissures, thin eyelids, no bloating, normal tension of eyelid skin, and no epicanthus. It is usually performed through buried suture double eyelid surgery.

Buried suture double eyelid surgery refers to a surgery that uses sutures to bury sutures (or polymer sutures) directly between the skin and the tarsal plate, causing the upper eyelid skin to adhere to the tarsal plate, forming a double eyelid.

Indications:

1. People who have double eyelids made from single eyelids.

2. People whose eyelids are thin rather than thick.

3. People who use double eyelid tape to form lines.

4. People who use many double eyelid lines to repeatedly form lines.

5. People with mild ptosis.

6. People who want to have double eyelids but dare not use the incision method.

Contraindications:

1. Those who are mentally ill or not mentally prepared, lack confidence in their own conditions, or have unrealistic fantasies or whose family members do not agree are not suitable for buried suture double eyelid surgery.

2. Patients with bleeding tendencies and hypertension symptoms, as well as those with diseases of important organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys, and those with uncontrolled diabetes and infectious diseases are not suitable for buried suture double eyelid surgery.

3. People with facial paralysis and incomplete palpebral fissure closure are not suitable for buried suture double eyelid surgery.

4. Those whose eyeballs are too protruding, too sunken or whose eyelids are retracted due to various reasons are not suitable for buried suture double eyelid surgery.

5. People with congenital amblyopia, acute or chronic infectious diseases in the inner or outer eye or around the eye that have not been controlled or healed are not suitable for buried suture double eyelid surgery.

Surgical method

How to shape

The buried suture double eyelid surgery process is designed according to the patient's requirements for the curvature and width of the double eyelid. The upper eyelid is divided into three equal parts: inner, middle and outer. With the eyes closed, a thin bamboo stick is placed in the middle part, usually 5-7 mm away from the eyelid margin, to prop it up. At this time, the doctor will tell the patient to open his eyes, and the double eyelid line will appear.

Surgical Procedure

After partial anesthesia, the doctor cuts the skin and orbicularis oculi muscle, inserts ophthalmic forceps into the incision, clamps a small amount of orbicularis oculi muscle, lifts it out of the incision and cuts it off. Move this point up, down, left and right appropriately to find the best shape for double eyelids, then use gentian violet to make a small marking point here, and finally draw a 2.5 mm long incision marking line in the middle 1/3. Then use toothed forceps to deepen the incision to search for orbital fat. Press the left finger on the eyelid skin. After finding it, open the orbital septum, cut the orbital septum, carefully cut off the fat, stop the bleeding completely, perform three-point or two-point suture embedding, and finally bandage until the operation is completed.

Features: The swelling is reduced quickly after surgery, the double eyelid line is natural, there is no scar, the correction is simple, and the chance of untying the double eyelid line is higher than the incision method. It is suitable for young people with less orbital fat, thin and tight skin on the upper face, or people with single eyelid on one side, or people with double eyelids that appear and disappear from time to time. After double eyelid surgery, the double eyelid folds on the face become lighter or disappear, and can be repaired again in this way.
