How to trim straight eyebrows for beginners

Everyone knows that eyebrows are a very important part of the makeup process, because different eyebrow shapes determine different makeup effects. Therefore, for makeup beginners, they should choose eyebrows and eyebrow shapes that suit them. Now there is a kind of eyebrow shape that suits most people. This eyebrow shape is called straight eyebrow, which is an eyebrow shape introduced from Korea. So how can beginners trim straight eyebrows?

1. First of all, before drawing eyebrows, we need to comb the eyebrows to make them smoother and ensure that they are in the same direction. At this time, we can use an eyebrow brush to comb our eyebrows like we comb our hair.

Some people may ignore this step, but remember, this step is necessary, because if our eyebrows are not neat, it will be difficult for us to draw them. Moreover, you may trim the eyebrows incorrectly, trimming the parts that should not be trimmed, while leaving the parts that should be trimmed, making the overall look uneven.

2. After combing, start drawing lines. The purpose of doing this is to give us an overall outline, so that we won’t be in a hurry when trimming our eyebrows. So how do we draw lines? Measure at the position of our nose tip with a stick, you can also use an eyebrow pencil to measure, and then draw lines to mark the specific position.

3. After drawing the eyebrows, it is time to move to the end of the eyebrows. Do the same thing here and then make a mark at the end of the eyebrow.

4. After the head and tail are drawn, the next is the upper and lower parts. First, we can determine the area under our eyebrows, put our eyebrow pencil flat and parallel to the bottom of our eyebrows, and then draw a parallel line. At this time, you will see that there will be two intersection points at the eyebrow head and eyebrow tail where we just drew the line. These two intersection points will be used when drawing eyebrows later.

5. Then we need to determine the width between our eyebrows. This does not have to be specific to a certain width. It can be determined based on your personal preferences or your face shape and style. However, it should be noted that the width of the eyebrows on both sides must be consistent and remain parallel. Otherwise, it will look very strange if one is larger than the other. After determining the width, draw the line in the same way.

6. The next step is to determine the last position, the brow peak. The position of the brow peak is about two-thirds of our eyebrows. After positioning it here, use our eyebrow pencil to be perpendicular to the eyeball, and then make a mark here.

7. After drawing all the lines above, we can use an eyebrow pencil to fill in the blank areas between these lines, and then a straight eyebrow will appear. At this time, we can use our eyebrow knife and eyebrow scissors to trim the eyebrows outside this area according to the shape we just drew, and cut off the overly long eyebrows in the area to get a perfect straight eyebrow.
