What is toner?

Nowadays, people attach great importance to appearance, because more and more people are considering how to make themselves more beautiful. There are many ways to do this. Among them, using various cosmetics is the most convenient and quickest measure. Cosmetics are divided into various categories and have different effects on the skin. For example, toner is one of the commonly used cosmetics. Let's take a look at what toner is.

Toner is also called astringent water, lotion, etc. Some toners contain trace amounts of alcohol, while others are purely plant-based.

The function of toner is to cleanse again and restore the pH value of the skin surface, regulate the stratum corneum, enable the skin to absorb better, and prepare for the use of skin care products.

Toner is used after skin cleansing and has the following functions:

1. Astringent: shrink the pores opened after cleaning in time.

2. Deep cleansing: toner can further remove dirt in the pores.

3. Moisturizing: Toner can replenish some of the lost moisture and prevent peeling.

4. Soothing: Soothing ingredients can reduce the stimulation of sebaceous glands and prevent the vicious cycle of oil secretion.

5. Soften cuticles, promote the metabolism of old cuticles, keep pores unobstructed, and facilitate nutrient absorption.

Directions:

1. If you use toner as the last step of cleansing, it can remove residual marks. Then you should wipe from bottom to top with cotton pads, "press" the nose, forehead, and chin a few times, and then use both hands to "fan" your face. The best state for the cotton pad is when it is fully absorbed by the toner but no water drops can be wrung out. If the cotton pad is too dry, it will be troublesome to leave cotton wool on your face.

2. If you use toner because you like the cool feeling on your face, you can pour the toner on the palm of your hand, then "pat" it with your hands, and then use your fingers to "play" a few piano circles on your face. This can help penetration and make the epidermal cells more elastic.

3. Some toners have the effect of removing aged stratum corneum. In this case, you must use a cotton ball or cotton pad to dip in the toner and wipe it before use. At the same time, try not to wipe the same part repeatedly to avoid excessive exfoliation.
