Potato facial mask benefits

Skin care is a long-term process. Since various skin care products come into direct contact with our skin, the products must have health guarantees. Plant skin care is a new concept nowadays. Of course, these plants also include the food we eat, such as potatoes. Potatoes are very nutritious and are most commonly used to make whitening facial masks. What are the effects of using potatoes as facial masks?

Potato whitening mask is a homemade mask, the main ingredients of which are milk and potatoes. Potatoes are rich in vitamins, which can promote the growth of skin cells, maintain skin luster, and bleach subcutaneous melanin. They can not only whiten and rejuvenate the skin, but also reduce summer sun spots.

Potato whitening mask is suitable for dry, neutral, oily and combination skin. It is recommended to use it 2 to 3 times a week.

1 potato, 3 tablespoons milk, some flour

How to make your own facial mask:

1. Wash the potatoes, peel and cut them into pieces, put them in a juicer and squeeze out the juice;

2. Pour potato juice, milk and flour into the mask bowl;

3. Use a mixing chopstick to stir thoroughly and mix it into a thin, easy-to-apply mask paste for later use.

Tips: It is advisable to choose fresh and juicy potatoes as the material for making homemade facial masks.

Application method

1. Clean your face with warm water, then apply a hot towel to your face for about 3 to 5 minutes;

2. Then take an appropriate amount of the prepared potato whitening mask and apply it carefully on the face and neck;

3. When applying the mask, be careful to avoid the delicate skin around the eyes and lips;

4. Apply the mask for about 20 minutes. When the mask is 80% dry, wash your face thoroughly with clean water and perform daily skin care.

If your face looks tired, you can use a cooked potato mask, which can not only eliminate fatigue but also smooth out wrinkles.

Cooked Potatoes

Add a small amount of milk to potatoes and cook them, then mash them into a paste. After cooling, apply it on your face for 20 to 25 minutes. To do this, squeeze the juice of a lemon into a teacup of mashed potatoes, mix the mixture and apply it on the face and neck, then cover it with gauze, apply it for about 30 minutes, and finally wash it off with cold water.

If you have oily skin, peel and mash the cooked potatoes and mix them with a small amount of oatmeal powder. Apply the mixture to your face for 15 to 20 minutes, then wash it off with warm water. If you want to make dry skin soft and elastic, you can peel and mash the cooked potatoes, add a spoonful of sour cream, apply it on your face for 10 to 15 minutes, and then wash it off with warm water at 40 to 50 degrees Celsius.

Step 1: Take two to three good potatoes that are plump and have no sprouts, wash and peel them.

Step 2: Cut into pieces, put into a juicer to squeeze the juice, and pour the juice into a clean container.

Step 3: Pour one-third cup of fresh milk into the container and mix in flour to make a paste, which can be used as a facial mask.

Step 4: Apply on face and wash off after 20 minutes.

It is recommended to use 2 to 3 times a week.
