Effects of yeast on skin

Effects of yeast on skin

Speaking of yeast, the first thing that comes to mind is definitely lactic acid bacteria food. In fact, yeast is not only a dietary supplement in our daily life, but it is also used in many beauty industries. For example, yeast-based facial masks and skin care products are common on the market. The main function of yeast is that it can inhibit the formation of melanin, lighten the color of black cells and have a whitening effect. At the same time, it has a certain positive effect on skin aging and moisturizing.

1. Whitening effect

Scientists conducted experiments using the melanocytes of white mice (cells that synthesize melanin). They added live yeast to the melanocytes and cultured them for a period of time. The addition of live yeast inhibited the formation of melanin by more than 60% compared to not adding yeast. The color of the black cells also became lighter. Experiments have proven that live yeast has a whitening effect.

2. Prevent skin cell aging

Cultivating fibroblasts (cells related to skin tension and elasticity) in live yeast greatly promotes cell proliferation. This proves that yeast prevents cellular aging.

Excellent moisturizing effect

3. Glycerin is a common moisturizer. When comparing the moisturizing properties of live yeast and glycerin, it is found that live yeast has better moisturizing properties than glycerin. The pH value of weakly acidic live yeast is between 4.5-5.0, which can neutralize alkaline skin caused by many factors. It keeps the skin in a healthy weak acid state, prevents the growth of harmful bacteria, decomposes oil, removes clogged pores, tightens pores, makes the skin tight and smooth, and increases immunity.

Pure natural active yeast, active yeast extracted from fresh milk, penetrates deep into the skin's base layer, removes excess oil and impurities from the skin, stimulates cell growth, regenerates collagen mother cells, accelerates skin cell renewal, tightens the skin, creates smooth, fair skin, and keeps the skin healthy. It has high efficiency in retaining and locking moisture, giving the skin long-lasting moisture. The yeast itself is rich in nutrients, and the activation process penetrates deep into the skin's base layer, instantly activating cells, replenishing the nutrients needed by the skin, naturally whitening and brightening the skin tone, and giving skin cells life energy.
