How to apply eye makeup when you have dark circles

Young people nowadays like nightlife, but if they don’t get enough rest, they will have dark circles under their eyes, which will affect their overall temperament. Therefore, many female friends will put on some light makeup to cover up the blemishes on their faces in order to make their complexion look healthy. Many female friends have no idea how to deal with dark circles under their eyes and don’t know what method to use to cover them up. Here are some eye makeup methods for different dark circles.

1. Eye bags and dark circles:

Eye bag type dark circles are mainly concentrated at the lower edge of the eye bags. When the fat in the eye bags accumulates to a certain extent, it compresses the blood circulation, causing the skin under the eye bags to become dull. This is called eye bag type dark circles.

Makeup tips:

Step 1: First use concealer to brighten the area under the eye bags, but remember not to apply it to the eye bags.

Step 2: Then apply concealer under the eye bags, first press down and pat, then gently press upward and pat.

Step 3: Finally, dip the brush into the powder and gently brush it under the eye bags.

2. Circulatory dark circles:

Poor blood circulation can easily lead to a large area of dull skin around the eyes. This type of dark circles is brown in color. If you want to cover it perfectly, you must correct your skin tone first. You can use orange concealer to neutralize the brown eye circles, and then use a color close to your original skin color to cover them a second time, so that the covered dark circles will not appear abrupt.

Makeup tips:

Step 1: Apply moisturizing orange concealer evenly on dark circles.

Step 2: Use a concealer that is close to your skin tone or one shade lighter than your skin tone and apply it evenly on the back of your hand.

Step 3: Then press and pat the concealer evenly on the dark circles.

Step 4: Finally, use the brush to dip the powder, gently pat it on the blemish area and brush it lightly in the same direction.

Tips: Use an orange-colored concealer and gently press from the lower eyelashes toward the cheeks to cover the dark circles. Avoid applying concealer from the root of the lower eyelashes. You must start from the bottom edge or the middle part where the dark circles are formed to achieve a smudge effect.

3. Tear trough type dark circles:

This type of dark circles mainly appear under the eye, usually due to sagging eye skin caused by aging. People with extremely sensitive eyes and the habit of rubbing their eyes are also prone to this situation. Avoid using dry concealer for this type of dark circles, otherwise it is easy to cause serious powder sticking. It is recommended to use liquid, moist, orange-colored concealer.

Makeup tips:

Step 1: Mix the lotion and concealer first, because concealer is sometimes relatively dry, and mixing it with lotion improves the moisturizing properties of the concealer.

Step 2: Apply the mixed concealer evenly on the dark circles, and then gently pat it with your fingers to make the concealer fit better on the skin.

Step 3: Apply moisturizing eye powder lightly over the concealer area.

Step 4: Use brightening powder to highlight the inner and outer corners of the eyes.

Tips: First, lightly press liquid concealer on the eye corners, and then use a very small amount of concealer to overlap. This can slightly expand the coverage area. However, if only the eye corners are dark, avoid covering a large area with concealer, otherwise the color difference will make the area under the eyes even darker. After applying cream concealer, dip a brush into a little pearlescent powder (the particles must be very fine) and lightly brush it on the tear trough-shaped dark circles. In addition to using the pearlescent reflection to brighten the eye area, it also uses the mirror effect to hide fine lines.
