Liposuction rhinoplasty

Liposuction rhinoplasty

With the increasing development of the plastic surgery industry, people no longer use prosthetic noses. Instead, they choose to use their own fat and liposuction to perform nose augmentation. Rhinoplasty is currently a relatively advanced surgery, but it may also cause some symptoms after the surgery, such as swelling and congestion, which require rest and conditioning to recover.

Liposuction rhinoplasty:

Liposuction rhinoplasty usually involves making incisions inside the nostrils, and no marks can be seen after the procedure. The implant is made of materials that are highly compatible with the human body structure, such as silicone rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. Rejection reactions are extremely rare, and it is also convenient for sculpting and shaping.

Incision for liposuction rhinoplasty:

Most of the current liposuction rhinoplasty surgeries make an incision about 1 cm long on the inner side of the nostril edge at the junction of the columella and the ala nasi. Through this Korean liposuction rhinoplasty incision, a spacious cavity is separated under the dorsal nasal fascia and/or the periosteum of the nasal bone. The prosthesis is then carved according to the patient's requirements and the doctor's skills, or the carved prosthesis is implanted first to achieve the desired result. Finally, the Korean liposuction rhinoplasty will sew the skin back to its original position.

Symptoms you may experience after rhinoplasty surgery:

1. Bruising and swelling around the orbit: Generally, the swelling and bruising lasts for about a week.

2. Infection: The chance of occurrence is about 1/100-1/1000. Through aseptic treatment during surgery and antibiotic treatment after surgery, the chance of infection can be reduced to a minimum.

3. Rejection: With the improvement of the material of artificial nose molds, rejection is relatively rare.

4. Crooked nose: The cause of this may be the patient's own nasal bone, nasal cartilage and nasal septum bending or surgery. The correction method depends on the symptoms and whether surgery is required.

5. Exposed nose mold: This may be due to excessive tension on the implanted nose mold.

The trick to improve the condition is to remove the artificial nose mold first, and then insert autologous cartilage into the nose tip during the next surgery.

Key points for protection after rhinoplasty:

1. Take good care of the surgical wound and apply some antibiotics or other drugs to the wound. If it is not bandaged and left exposed, a small amount of blood will seep out. You can use a sterilized alcohol cotton pad to gently wipe it off. Do not wipe the wound with unclean objects to avoid infection of the surgical site due to contamination, which will ruin the success of the operation.

2. The wound will generally stop bleeding within 3 hours after the operation. If there are blood scabs around the wound, you can gently wash it with 3% hydrogen peroxide within 24 to 48 hours, and then wash it again with saline, and then apply a small amount of antibiotics, and sprinkle some anti-inflammatory powder to keep the wound dry. Then you can wait for your wound to heal automatically. At this time, don't be impatient, and proceed slowly.

3. Swelling will begin to occur 1-2 hours after the operation, reach its peak within 24 hours, and the swelling and pain will subside after 72 hours. Because the blood circulation on the human face is better, the redness will disappear faster. Of course, these are inseparable from the surgeon's operation. For example, if the doctor's operation is rough, it will cause trauma and bleeding. However, for most people, postoperative swelling is not a big deal, and it usually returns to its natural state about 10 days after the operation.
