Failed liposuction surgery

Failed liposuction surgery

Although technology is constantly developing, there is no guarantee that there will not be some cases of surgical failure, especially for plastic surgery such as liposuction. There is no guarantee that accidents can be avoided. Not everyone is suitable for liposuction. Some people are born with a large frame and are not suitable for liposuction. Forcing an unsuitable surgery will only lead to counterproductive results.

Complications of liposuction surgery are hard to avoid

Although the chance of complications from liposuction surgery is very small, it is still difficult to avoid. Complications can occur if you are careless or seek improper medical treatment. Once complications occur, they are difficult to treat and sometimes may cause an uneven belly. According to statistics, in the past five years, about 1 in every 5,000 people who underwent liposuction by qualified cosmetic surgeons in the United States died from surgical complications. In recent years, there have been reports of cases in China where certain complications or even death were caused by improper liposuction surgery.

Not everyone is suitable for liposuction

Liposuction is mainly suitable for people with localized obesity, such as women, especially those with fat accumulation in the lower abdomen after childbirth, localized hypertrophy of the calves and thighs, and fat accumulation in the arms, but it is not suitable for minors and the elderly. Children's physical development is not yet complete and the amount of body fat is not constant. If liposuction is performed blindly, it will not only cause fat rebound, but also disrupt the child's growth cycle and endanger their health. Secondary obesity caused by other diseases must be treated according to the primary disease and is not within the scope of liposuction treatment. People with severe obesity, hypertension, coronary heart disease, abnormal renal function, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, pulmonary insufficiency, and abnormal coagulation function are among those who are contraindicated for surgery.

Therefore, when undergoing liposuction surgery, you must fully consider it and seek the advice of a professional doctor. If you have a good figure, there is no need to join the crowd.
