The sequelae of eye liposuction are an issue that many people are concerned about. It cannot fundamentally solve the big problem. They may also experience numbness and sensitivity after the operation. In severe cases, it may cause unevenness and signs of infection.

Eye liposuction side effects

Liposuction is a method of losing weight by extracting excess fat from the body, fundamentally reducing the number of fat cells. After liposuction, as long as you maintain a regular lifestyle, there will be little rebound. Although liposuction surgery has a good effect, you still need to pay attention to maintenance after liposuction of the waist and abdomen, so everyone should strictly follow the doctor's instructions.

1. Pigmentation: This is because the suction is too thin, causing greater damage and skin ischemia. It is particularly common in the calves and abdomen. Generally, the pigmentation will disappear within half a year after the operation.

2. Numbness and abnormal sensations in the surgical area: After the operation, the skin sensation in the liposuction area will inevitably be affected, and numbness and abnormal sensations such as occasional tingling and crawling sensations will occur. Generally, they will gradually recover 1 to 3 months after the operation.

3. Unevenness in the surgical area: Liposuction is not absolutely uniform, so the surgical area will feel uneven after surgery. This mainly depends on the doctor's skills. Mild unevenness is inevitable. Wearing an elastic corset and proper massage for 1 to 3 months can gradually make it smooth. Severe unevenness may not recover after 3 to 6 months after surgery, and liposuction is required again.

4. Wound infection: This is related to the fact that the negative pressure is not blocked when the suction tube enters and exits the incision, which aggravates the damage to the incision.

5. Necrosis of the skin flap in the surgical area: If too much subcutaneous fat is sucked out during the operation, the blood circulation of the skin will be disrupted, and skin blisters or even necrosis may occur, leaving scars. At this point, the doctor's technical level is very important.

6. Chronic pain: This is caused by rough surgical operation or unreasonable incision design and subcutaneous scar hyperplasia. It is mainly manifested as radiating pain, especially at night. If it occurs, local closure or scar release and excision can be performed.
