How to do French manicure

1. Reshape the nails

Too long nails can easily look vulgar, so trim the part of the nail that grows out of the fingertips to a length of less than 3 mm. First use nail clippers to trim the top of the nail, then smooth the edges. When using a nail file, you should trim in the same direction from the periphery of the nail to the tip of the nail. Filing back and forth can easily cause the nails to be injured and cracked.

2. Soften

Add a little lemon or milk to warm water and soak your hands for two to three minutes. Body scrub can be used to remove excess dead skin from your hands, and apply hand cream immediately after cleaning. Use a flattening stick or cuticle spatula to gently push the softened root cuticle back, and the excess cuticle can be cut off with cuticle scissors.

3. Apply nail polish

Apply nail polish and base color and wait for them to dry completely. Dark colors are suitable for short nails, such as dark blue or black as the base color, which looks beautiful and cool. Apply twice to make the color saturated. For long nails, you can choose white or transparent as the base color.

4. Draw an arc

Use white or glitter nail polish to draw an arc on the front of your nail. It may be a little difficult for beginners as the curvature of the smile line is not easy to grasp. You can first take a piece of double eyelid tape, adjust the curvature and stick it on the nails to reveal the smile line. Apply nail polish to your smile line as usual. Fill the area from the front of the nail to the fingertip, wait for it to dry, and then gently peel off the double eyelid glue. A beautiful smile line appears.
