How to do the simplest French manicure

Many women love beauty, and in life many women like to do nail art very much. There are many styles and different styles, which also make many women's fingers look more slender and beautiful. Generally speaking, when doing your nails, you must consider the shape and length of your fingers. French manicure can be said to be a relatively simple manicure style. How should the simplest French manicure be done?

1. Maintain your nails

Remove old nail polish. Use a cotton pad dipped in nail polish remover to remove all the nail polish until it is completely gone. Make sure to remove all corners and gaps cleanly, as any remaining traces will affect the beauty of the French manicure.

2. Trim your nails into the shape you like

Long nails look better with a French manicure, so don't trim your nails too short. Use nail clippers to trim any uneven areas and ensure your nails are of even, consistent length.

3. Trim and polish

Use a manicure file to trim the edges of your nails. You can trim your nails into round or square shapes according to your preference. Then use a polishing file to polish your nails.

4. Soak your nails

Soak your hands in a bowl of hot water and whole milk or olive oil. This will help soften the cuticle and make trimming easier. Soak for about 3 minutes and then dry with a towel.

5. Apply nail polish: Apply base coat

The base coat for a French manicure is usually light pink, cream, or clear. The first stroke should be applied from the center and then from both sides. Start at the base of the nail and work your way up. Slowly paint over the entire nail. Apply base coat to each nail on both hands.

6. Apply white on your fingertips

When applying white nail polish to your fingertips, your hands must not shake and must be steady. When applying, apply it in one stroke, without interruptions. Wait until your fingertips are completely dry before applying another coat. Finally, apply a layer of clear topcoat to protect your freshly painted French manicure. A top coat will also help your French manicure last longer.
