1. Close the lid

Before sharpening the eyebrow pencil, you need to cover the cap of the eyebrow pencil, use a knife to rotate the edge of the cap on the eyebrow pencil once, and confirm the reference line scale. The purpose of confirming the scale line is to start sharpening from here later. Start sharpening from the scale line you just confirmed. Basically, two cuts will be enough to expose the pen core. The other side also needs to be sharpened well.

After that, you need to extend the scale line downward based on the previous one and cut it again. The extended length is equal to the length of the pen core leaking out at this time, and the other side of the pen also needs to be cut like this. Place the pen on the paper, and cut horizontally at an angle of about 30 degrees with the wood on both sides as the base line. Each time the tip of the nose is used at this position, you can sharpen it again.

3. Expose the refill

We need to cut the other two sides that have not been sharpened a few times until the lead is exposed. The length of the lead is about 6-7mm. If it is too long, it will be difficult for us to control it and the lead will easily break. At this point the eyebrow pencil is almost sharpened, and you can also make the edges of the sharpening neat. At this time, we see that the pen core is a bit thick when viewed from the side. Pen core that is too thick will produce strokes without a sense of lines and will be difficult to use. So we need to grind the tip of the eyebrow pencil on paper, smooth out the sharp edges and corners that have just been sharpened by the knife, and also grind the thickness of the pencil core to be as thin as possible.
