The correct way to remove dead skin during manicure

For many girls who love beauty, manicure is a very important thing. After getting a manicure, when you stretch out a pair of beautiful hands, you will feel particularly confident and it will also add points to your appearance. If you go out for a manicure, you may not always have time, and sometimes you may not be able to achieve the effect you want. So now many women have started to do their own manicures, so that they can make their own favorite and personalized manicures.

Tip 1: Don’t touch the push rod with your index finger

The softening of the dead skin has been dealt with. Before pushing, you must maintain the correct posture. The dead skin itself is very thin, and it is tightly connected to the skin at the edge of the finger, so you must be careful when pushing the dead skin and control the strength of the push. Normally, our hands are quite strong, and the front end of the steel pusher is quite sharp. If we hold the steel pusher tightly with our thumb, index finger, and middle finger like holding a pen, it is easy to use too much force and cause pain to the customer, or even bleeding. After moving your index finger away from the steel pusher, you will find that it is difficult to exert force with your thumb and middle finger while pinching the steel pusher. At this time, the force will be very suitable when you push the dead skin.

Skill 2: Grasp the steel push angle

After learning how to hold the steel push rod, you must also grasp the angle of the steel push rod. If the angle between the steel pusher and the nail surface is too small, the sharp edge of the steel pusher may injure the skin at the edge of the finger during the pushing process; if the angle is too large and there is no force, it will not have any effect. Keeping the angle between the steel pusher and the nail surface at about 45° to 60° can not only effectively push away dead skin, but also be relatively safe and will not hurt the skin even if you use a little more force.

Tip 3: Hold the cuticle scissors with your backhand

After pushing up the dead skin, use a cuticle scissors to separate them from the edge of the finger. There is a certain technique to cutting dead skin, and it is best to hold the cuticle scissors with your palm facing upwards!

First, when you hold the cuticle scissors with your palm facing upwards, you have a wider field of vision, and your fingers will not block the part that the blade is cutting. Secondly, when holding the cuticle scissors in this way, the entire scissors are supported by the hand, and even if the customer's movements are a little larger, the manicurist can control the cuticle scissors in time and will not hurt the customer.

Technique 4: Hold the scissors head with your left hand fingers

While my right hand is awkwardly and painfully operating the cuticle trimmer, my left hand is also busy. It may feel awkward or even chaotic when you first operate it, but practice makes perfect.

Tip 5: Use the tip of a knife to cut into small pieces

When cutting dead skin, be sure not to use the entire blade of the scissors to cut, and do not "push" it in one go like peeling an apple. Instead, use only the tip of the scissors to slowly "nibble" it and cut it in small pieces.

Tip 6: Never use the pulling method to cut off dead skin

Each cut of dead skin must be cut directly off, and the dead skin cannot be pulled off by pulling. Pulling will make the edges of the cut dead skin rough, easily develop barbs, and may also cause pain to the customer.

Tip 7: Non-woven fabric wraps big finger

In the process of cutting dead skin, the softened dead skin will become dry again. At this time, the non-woven fabric wrapped around the thumb will come into play! Use a non-woven cloth to dip into the water in the dish to moisten the dead skin, which can keep the dead skin and the skin around the nails moist. Make sure that the dead skin and the skin around the finger edges are moist when you cut them, so that the dead skin will not be too hard to cut.
