Using Niacinamide for Acne

Using Niacinamide for Acne

The problem of acne not only troubles adolescents, but is also a primary concern for women who love beauty. I am extremely disgusted by the sudden appearance of pimples on my face. I feel that all my self-confidence has been destroyed because of this pimple, but I don’t know the specific cause of the pimple. Research and practice have shown that using niacinamide can cause acne. Although this substance can promote metabolism, long-term use can have adverse effects.

Niacinamide can promote tissue metabolism, has anti-inflammatory activity, can resist ultraviolet radiation, and can repair skin damage caused by ultraviolet radiation. Therefore, niacinamide tablets are also a type of oral antioxidant. It can also treat pellagra and has an auxiliary therapeutic effect on allergic and itchy skin diseases, photosensitive dermatitis and acne. Niacinamide fights acne and inflammation, prevents pigmentation in inflamed areas, and prevents the activation of inflammation by toll receptors in the skin. Currently, several popular skin care products containing niacinamide on the market are mainly used for whitening and freckle removal. If any of you feel that you get acne after using products containing niacinamide, it may be that you are allergic to fragrances or preservatives. In addition, any moisturizer has the potential to cause acne.

Synthesis method

1. β-Methylpyridine is oxidized by air to nicotinic acid, which reacts with ammonium hydroxide and then heated to dehydrate.

2. Put nicotinic acid, boric acid and ammonia water into the reaction pot, pass ammonia gas while stirring, and heat to dissolve; then distill and recover ammonia, and transfer it to the dehydration pot to continue concentrating after reaching 120°C; when the temperature reaches 145°C, start adding liquid ammonia, and continue to pass ammonia reaction at 185-190°C for 20-30 hours. Then cool to 130℃, dilute with distilled water, add activated carbon, and pass ammonia for decolorization at 70~80℃ for 2h; filter while hot after the reaction, cool the filtrate in water for 24h, separate the crystals, wash with ethanol, and dry to obtain the finished product with a yield of 89%.

3. Obtained by nicotinic acid and ammonia water forming salt and then dehydrating it.

1. Biochemical research; nutritional components of tissue culture medium; clinical drugs are vitamin B group, used to prevent and treat pellagra and stomatitis, glossitis and other diseases

Treatment.
