Introduction to the steps of facial steamer skin care

A facial steamer is a skin care method, and the effect it achieves is relatively good. However, if you use a facial steamer for skin care, you must pay attention to every step. For example, you must pay attention to thoroughly cleanse your facial skin before use to keep your skin clean. Avoid using steam to expand the pores, which may cause bacteria to enter the pores and affect the skin care effect.

Step 1: Clean your face

Before using a facial steamer, wash your face first to ensure that it is clean to prevent the pores from expanding and bacteria from entering the pores after being steamed.

Step 2: Clean the facial steamer

Rinse it with clean water before use, dry it slightly, then heat the distilled water to produce uniform steam. Do not use tap water or other dirty water for the facial steamer to prevent edema and impurities that are harmful to the skin.

Step 3: Adjust the steaming distance

Aim the spray outlet at the area that needs care. The optimum distance between the nozzle and the facial skin is generally 30-50 cm (be sure to avoid burns). It can also be adjusted according to the strength and size of the spray gas and your sensitivity to steam.

Step 4: Choose the fumigation time

Determine the fumigation time according to your own needs. Hot air fumigation beauty usually lasts 10-15 minutes each time, and cold air fumigation beauty usually lasts 20 minutes. Sensitive skin is generally fumigated with cold air or a short period of hot air fumigation (3-5 minutes). The fumigation time can be slightly longer in winter and shorter in summer. For general skin care, fumigation is done 1-2 times a week; for therapeutic drugs, it is done once a day; for oily skin, it is fumigated once a week; for normal skin, it is fumigated once every 10 days; for dry skin, it is fumigated once every 15 days.

Step 5: Turn off the power

After finishing the steam, be sure to turn off the steamer and unplug it. While the pores are expanding, use a facial cleanser with better cleaning power and the lowest skin sensitivity to do a deep cleansing. At this time, the dirt in the pores can be easily cleaned out (note that warm water should be used for cleaning at this time).

Step 6: Clean the facial steamer

After cleaning the dirt in the enlarged pores with warm water and facial cleanser, apply a cold compress on your face to shrink the pores and prevent dirt from entering the pores again. After completing routine facial care, pour out the remaining distilled water in the steamer, clean the inside and outside of the steamer, and keep it for next use.
