You may not know these classifications of spots

The face is the part that women pay the most attention to and also the part that they take the most care of. An exquisite face does not allow for spots on the face. And pigmentation is a symbol of aging for many women. In fact, modern society is extremely stressful, and if a woman feels unwell, spots will appear on her face. Pigment spots are the biggest enemy of women's beauty, but not many people understand the classification of pigment spots.

Facial spots:

Facial pigmentation, also known as facial pigmentation in hospitals, refers to spots on the face that are different in color from the surrounding area. There are many reasons for the formation of facial pigmentation, and the types are relatively complex. Facial pigmentation is a common facial pigmentation, disfiguring skin disease caused by an increase in skin melanin. It often occurs on the cheeks and forehead and worsens after sun exposure.

Dark spot formation

1. Sun exposure is the number one killer of spots. For most people, the melanin deposition caused by sun exposure will be excreted through the body's metabolism, but some people may have a slower metabolism or are older, which may leave melanin and form dark spots.

2. Metal poisoning caused by using expired or inferior cosmetics, such as lead, mercury, arsenic poisoning, etc.

3. When the skin is injured, foreign objects such as dust and ink are embedded in the wound: using iodine or gentian violet; or eating too much pigmented food, such as soy sauce and black fungus, will cause pigment deposition and form dark spots.

4. Problems with lifestyle habits. Bad living habits such as stress, picky eating, and lack of sleep can also increase melanin. Therefore, people with unstable sleep schedules have poor skin metabolism rates, which will affect the production of melanin particles.

The formation of freckles

1. Genetic factors: However, it is not necessarily inherited from your parents, it may be inherited from several generations. Generally speaking, freckles mostly appear on the face with fair skin.

2. Exposure to sunlight: On the one hand, the ultraviolet rays in the sun stimulate the subcutaneous pigment cells to become active, producing a large amount of melanin; on the other hand, they damage the normal metabolic function of skin cells, preventing melanin from being smoothly excreted and causing it to remain on the skin or even deposit in the dermis. Therefore, excessive sun exposure will aggravate and deepen freckles, but in winter, freckles will gradually fade.

Formation of Melasma

It is caused by the obstruction of the microcirculation between tissue cells, cell dissolution and death, and the increase of melanin to form pigmentation. The epidermis of the face is the thinnest, with the most abundant capillaries and the easiest to form pigmentation. The pigmentation area is mainly in the basal layer of the epidermis, and the melanin particles increase significantly. In more serious cases, there is also more melanin in the melanophages in the dermis. Compared with normal, the number of pigment cells, melanin formation and the activity of melanin particles have different increases.

1. Imbalance of yin and yang in the human body: First, stagnation of liver qi causes blood stasis on the face; second, weakness of the spleen and stomach causes qi and blood to fail to moisturize the face, and dampness and heat rise to the face to form spots; third, deficiency of kidney yang causes the yang qi to diffuse, and blood stasis on the face to form chloasma.

2 After pregnancy, the placenta secretes more androgen and progesterone, so pregnant women often have symmetrically distributed chloasma on their cheeks. However, after delivery, when the body's androgen and progesterone secretion returns to normal, the spots will naturally lighten or disappear for most people.

3. Drug factors: 9% to 20% of women who take oral contraceptives for a long time are prone to chloasma. Some even develop facial spots after taking oral contraceptives for one month. In addition, taking drugs for high blood pressure and diabetes and eating more photosensitivity foods such as celery, coriander, carrots, etc. can also easily cause chloasma.

4. Other factors: Some chronic diseases such as chronic hepatitis and tuberculosis will lead to increased tyrosinase activity and increased melanin production, while the body's own ability to eliminate melanin will be weakened. Once melanin cannot be excreted from the body in time, chloasma will occur on the face over time; in addition, improper use of cosmetics will also accelerate the formation of chloasma. There are many causes of pigmentation.

The formation of pregnancy spots

In fact, the principle of pregnancy spots and stretch marks is the same. They are all due to the special physiological conditions during pregnancy. Hormonal changes during pregnancy will cause a temporary increase in melanin in the body. Melanin is a substance produced naturally in the human body. The color of hair, skin and eyes comes from it. A few months after delivery, the areas of pigmentation during pregnancy are likely to gradually fade, and the skin should be able to return to its normal color. However, some women's pregnancy spots will not completely disappear. You can take some safe measures to minimize the degree of darkening of the skin color.
