What are the precautions when injecting hyaluronic acid?

Before injecting hyaluronic acid, please keep your skin clean and any cosmetics and skin care products need to be cleaned out. It is recommended to use cleanser and astringent to cleanse the skin. Use cool water to cleanse so that the pores are closed. Patients are strongly advised not to take anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin at least 3-4 days before treatment, as this may aggravate bleeding and swelling at the hyaluronic acid injection site.

Although hyaluronic acid is a good thing, we should still be careful not to use counterfeit products. Counterfeit hyaluronic acid can have a relatively large impact on our skin and also affect our physical health. However, if 100 ml is injected at a time, the human body cannot absorb such a large dose, which will cause blood circulation obstruction and skin necrosis. Sometimes the injection site is incorrect, piercing the blood vessel, or the injection is too shallow, which can also cause skin necrosis.

After the injection treatment, please keep your face relaxed and avoid making excessive facial expressions. Please avoid exposure to high-temperature environments such as saunas for at least two weeks after injecting hyaluronic acid, as this may cause the hyaluronic acid injected into the face to be quickly decomposed, thereby shortening the filling effect. Do not touch or massage the injection site.

Do not touch or knead the injected area within one week after injecting hyaluronic acid to prevent the hyaluronic acid from dispersing before it takes shape. In addition, after the injection, you should not take aspirin, anti-inflammatory analgesics, ginkgo, garlic, vitamin A, vitamin E and other substances. Within one week after injecting hyaluronic acid, do not apply ice or hot compresses to the injection site at will, do not sunbathe, use a sauna, steam room, or undergo laser surgery, or go to extremely cold places. Avoid strenuous exercise within a short period of time after the injection.
