Is chest scraping good?

Is chest scraping good?

Back scraping is a health care method adopted by many people. It has many benefits for spinal conditioning and muscle relaxation. However, recently many beauty salons have begun to use chest scraping to help people regulate their bodies. But is chest scraping good for most people? The answer to this question is not entirely clear. In fact, chest scraping is beneficial to human health, but first of all, the method must be correct.

1. Methods of chest scraping

The operating order of chest scraping is to scrape the Ren meridian (i.e. the middle) first, and then scrape to the lowest end of the sternum, using the single-foot scraping method; then avoid the nipples and scrape the left and right sides horizontally.

When scraping the chest, the contact angle between the scraper and the body surface should be small, and the force will be relatively smaller. The appropriate angle is 45°, and the force should be light. The patient lies in supine position, and the sha practitioner stands on the left and right sides of the patient and starts applying sha.

(1) The practitioner applies a small amount of the medium on the surface of the patient's sternum. Holding the scraping board in the right hand, scrape the surface of the sternum from top to bottom where the Ren meridian runs. When scraping to the Tanzhong point, you can scrape a few more times to help replenish qi. Stop at the Shangwan point and stop when local sha appears.

(2) Use the corner of the scraper to gently massage the Tiantu point (When massaging the Tiantu point, use light force, as the trachea is located deep inside this point. Using too much force may cause choking or even suffocation).

(3) With the patient's sternum as the midline, the practitioner uses a scraper to scrape horizontally along the ribs to the left and right sides. The entire scraping board should be close to the ribs, with a small angle. When passing over the nipple (not suitable for treatment of breastfeeding women), it should go around until the local skin turns slightly red.

Note: When scraping the chest, the angle between the scraper and the body surface should not be too large. The larger the angle, the greater the force. The chest is where the heart and lungs are located. Exerting too much force will affect and damage the heart and lung functions. It is not suitable for patients with severe heart and lung diseases.

Scraping the chest can not only improve women's breast hyperplasia, poor blood circulation in the chest and other conditions, but also has a good effect on the treatment, health care and prevention of the heart, lungs, liver, gallbladder, spleen and stomach.

2. Precautions for chest scraping:

In addition to scraping the middle area vertically, the chest rib area should be scraped horizontally (the chest is where the ribs are located. Generally, scraping is done from top to bottom. Only the middle of the chest is scraped from top to bottom, and other places are scraped horizontally. Although the meridians are vertical, we cannot scrape vertically. If we scrape vertically, wouldn't it be like scraping a washboard as we scrape over each rib? It would be too uncomfortable for thin people, so the chest should be scraped horizontally from the ribs.

If the person is thin, the force should be light when scraping. If the force is too strong or the scraping time is too long, it is easy to cause damage to the periosteum.

When scraping horizontally, scrape a large area horizontally. The scraper has a certain width, and the area it contacts the skin each time is the width of the scraper. Never take the corner and scrape along the rib groove, as this may easily cause damage to the ribs.

Do not scrape the rib area for too long. Generally, local scraping is enough to scrape until the pores are slightly opened. If you scrape excessively, it will cause damage to the periosteum.

Never shave the nipple area.
