What are the beauty yoga before bed

2. Downward Dog

Start by kneeling with your palms facing down on the ground, your hands shoulder-width apart, and your knees hip-width apart. Keep your feet and hands close to the ground, lift your hips so that your body and the ground form a triangle, with your hips as the top.

If your legs feel stiff, stand on tiptoe or bend your legs.

As you exhale, press your shoulders down and separate your shoulders from your ears.

Spread your fingers and toes as far as possible to distribute the force and keep your body weight even.

To disperse the force on your arms and achieve the best relaxation effect, you can (raise your kneecaps) and let your quadriceps cooperate with your arms to bear the force.

Tips:

If your arms need support in this pose, place a chair against the wall and place your hands on the seat.

3. Head to knee pose

Stretch your leg muscles.

Action essentials:

Sit with your legs straight, bend your right foot to the base of your left thigh, and make your right knee at least 90 degrees to your left knee.

Keeping your back straight, lean your upper body toward your left leg, exhaling as you press your upper body down toward the base of your left thigh.

Bend the toes of your left foot backward and reach your toes with both hands (you can use a towel to help).

With each inhale, meditate on your spine lengthening a little (imagine your head extending forward until it reaches the wall); with each exhale, let your body sink a little (bring your chest closer to the ground).

Inhale as you stretch your body upward, then repeat on the other side.
