The correct order for applying makeup

In daily life, many women will come into contact with cosmetics, because it is particularly important for women to master a makeup technique, and they must know the correct makeup steps when applying makeup, so as not to cause counterproductive effects. If the order of makeup is not mastered well, it is easy to cause damage to the skin, and may even cause premature aging of the skin. So what is the correct order for applying cosmetics?

Toner, lotion, sunscreen, primer, BB cream, foundation, eye shadow, rouge and the like, have you ever wondered “which ones should I have” and “in what order should I use them”? Undoubtedly, you should use makeup first, not lotion. In addition to basic moisturizing effects, some products can also provide whitening, anti-oxidation and other functions. Direct contact with the skin allows them to function to their fullest potential.

Next, use sunscreen, not primer. First of all, it should be made clear that the statement that isolation cream can "isolate dirty air, sunscreen, makeup, and electromagnetic radiation" is unfounded, and there is no need to use it before sunscreen for the purpose of "isolation".

After isolation, you can use BB cream or foundation, plus other makeup products to complete the hair makeup process. Since liquid foundation will dilute the applied sunscreen and thus damage the sunscreen film, considering the makeup effect, products with a dry texture such as pressed powder are more reliable.

So what is the order of isolation and sun protection?

First of all, if one of your foundation products has a sunscreen function and the SPF is sufficient, we do not need to apply sunscreen separately, otherwise it will bring burden to the skin. In this way, we can directly apply the isolation and then apply the foundation.

If not, and sunscreen is a separate product, then it depends on which of your sunscreen and isolation products does not contain colored powder.

The earliest isolation or sunscreen was only slightly white and had the function of re-moisturizing the skin and helping to isolate the precipitation of pigments and powder in makeup.

Now the boundary between makeup and skin care is becoming increasingly blurred. Cosmetics pay more and more attention to the skin care effect, and skin care products also begin to add pigment powder, but the corresponding amount added is less.

As for isolation and sunscreen, it depends on the brand, and basically they all have different additives, either pigments or powders. And the proportion has been increasing in recent years. Girls with good skin sometimes only need to use isolation and sunscreen, and don’t need to apply foundation.
