How to dye your hair at home

Many people find it difficult to achieve the ideal color and effect when dyeing their hair at home, so they encounter various problems when dyeing their hair. When dyeing your hair at home, you must first prepare gloves to prevent the hair from getting dirty on your hands and being unable to wash off. Also, be sure to prepare plastic wrap to wrap your hair so that you can color it.

1. Mixed hair dye cream

Put on plastic gloves, pour the developer and hair dye cream in the hair dye product into the coloring container, and then mix them evenly with a flat comb.

2. Even coloring

Put on old clothes or towels to protect your clothes from getting stained, and spread newspapers on the floor nearby to prevent the floor from getting stained by the hair dye. Next, divide the hair into several parts, apply the dye on the comb, avoid the roots, and start applying it downwards to the ends of the hair. Note that the coloring direction should be combing outwards to both sides rather than just combing downwards. When finished, apply the dye on the reserved roots.

3. Warming dyeing

After applying the hair dye evenly to all the hair, wrap it with plastic wrap and wait for 20-30 minutes. For coarse hair that is difficult to color, use hot air from a hair dryer to speed up the coloring process.

4. Cleanse after dyeing

It's easy to get dye on your skin during the dyeing process. You can use a cotton swab dipped in vaseline to wipe it off.

5. Wash your hair thoroughly

When the time is up, wash your hair with clean water until the color of the water becomes lighter after rinsing your hair, and then use a color-protecting shampoo and conditioner for the final wash and hair care.
