The role and harm of negative ions

The role and harm of negative ions

Everyone knows that the use of negative ions has become more and more widespread recently. Negative ions are applied to various industries. Some people use negative ions for beauty, some people use negative ions for medical research, and some people use negative ions for air purification. So, what are the functions of negative ions? So, is there any harm to the human body if you use negative ions frequently? Let me introduce it to you below.

Experts from the China Air Negative Ion and Ozone Research Society specifically responded to the online objections about "Are negative ions harmful to the human body? What are the hazards of negative air ions, etc.":

Are negative ions harmful to the human body? What is the basis for the harm of negative ions in the air? Is there a difference between artificial negative ions and natural negative ions?

Negative air ions are a natural factor. The artificial negative ions that relevant people talk about are harmful to the human body. They mainly refer to the fact that when artificial methods are used to generate negative air ions, they are often accompanied by negative derivatives such as ozone and nitrogen oxides. Long-term inhalation will affect physical health. This is also the biggest difference between artificial negative oxygen ions and natural negative ions (ecological grade negative ions). In fact, this problem is similar to the difference between industrial salt and edible salt. Industrial salt is harmful to the human body because it contains impurities, but if you remove the impurities, they are all sodium chloride, and there is no essential difference. The same goes for negative ions. Some companies in the industry have long overcome the problem of negative oxygen ion generators having ozone and other derivatives through nanofullerene negative ion release technology. Therefore, it is wrong to say in general that negative ions are harmful to the human body. There is no scientific basis for the harm of negative ions in the air. I hope the media will not take it out of context.

Negative ions in the air are beneficial to the human body and have no harm. Scientific research has shown that the suitable negative ion content (concentration) for the human body is 30,000 to 40,000 per square meter.

The research on the benefits of negative air ions to the human body has been going on for more than 100 years. A large number of experts at home and abroad have conducted a large number of scientific experiments in various concentration ranges, including a large number of "clinical experiments" and "clinical double-blind experiments". Although the research direction is the benefits to the human body, no adverse reactions and side effects of high concentrations of negative air ions (negative oxygen ions) on the human body have been found so far (for details, please refer to the "Clinical Trial Report and Research Literature Collection of Negative Air Ions"). Therefore, "Is there any scientific basis for the hazards of negative air ions?" and "The hazards of negative air ions" are pure nonsense.

Most negative ion generators have high negative ion concentrations only near the instrument. The concentration is very low or undetectable one meter away. Even the most cutting-edge technology - a negative oxygen ion purifier that uses the world's leading ecological negative ion generation chip technology and nanofullerene negative ion releaser technology, and has both an ecological negative ion generation system and a pollutant collection system - can only adjust the negative ion concentration in a room of about 30 square meters to 30,000 to 40,000 per square meter (negative ions exist in the air for a very short time, generally only a few seconds to tens of seconds. Even in the "hometown of negative ions" - the world-famous longevity village of Bama in Guangxi, the content/concentration is only 30,000 to 40,000). Research to date has not found any reports of adverse reactions or side effects of high concentrations of negative ions on the human body.
