How to remove fish scale nevus

How to remove fish scale nevus

Fish scale nevus is very different from ordinary moles because fish scale nevus is a common wart caused by HPV virus. However, it is more terrifying than ordinary black moles, because once fish scale moles appear on the patient's body, small bumps of varying sizes will grow on the skin area. These small bumps are densely packed and look extremely scary. Therefore, patients with fish scale nevus should take a look at some tips to remove fish scale nevus.

1 What is fish scale nevus

Fish scale nevus (also known as common wart) is a stubborn disease. Its main symptom is the appearance of small bumps on the forehead, back of hands and shoulders. If not treated in time, they will spread. Common warts are also called warts. The rash is gray-brown, brown, or normal skin-colored papules that are the size of soybeans or larger, with a rough, hyperkeratotic, hard, and papillary surface. It often occurs on the back of the hands, fingers, edges of the feet, etc., but can also occur in other parts of the body. Those that occur around the nail are called periungual warts, and those that occur on the nail bed are called subungual warts. Warts are long and thin protrusions with keratinized tips, called filiform warts, which often occur on the neck and eyelids. Warts with jagged finger-like protrusions on the surface are called digital warts, which are common on the scalp and between the toes.

2 Symptoms of fish scale nevus

1. Generally no subjective symptoms, occasional tenderness;

2. The skin lesions are needle-tip to pea-sized, semicircular or polygonal papules with a rough surface and obvious keratinization. They are slightly hard to the touch and are grayish yellow, dirty brown or normal skin color. They have papillary proliferation and the surface is mostly stamen or thorn-like;

3. It is common on fingers, backs of hands, nail edges and feet.

3How do fish scale moles grow?

Fish scale nevus is not a kind of mole in essence, but a kind of common wart, which we often call wart. It should be noted that ichthyosis is contagious. This disease is a skin growth caused by a viral infection and is benign in most cases. Children and young people may develop this fish scale nevus if their immunity is poor. Fish scale nevi are most likely to occur on the fingers and backs of hands, as well as the backs of feet and the skin around the nails. After the onset of fish scale nevus, a relatively small lump will form, which will not cause pain or itching.

1. Fish scale nevus is highly contagious, mainly self-transmission. For example, sometimes there is only one fish scale nevus, but after a month or so, fish scale nevus also grows on other parts of the body. This is caused by infection. Fish scale nevus is difficult to completely remove and is prone to recurrence.

2. The main cause of ichthyosis is human papillomavirus. When the skin or mucous membrane of a person's body is damaged, the immune function of the cells will be very low. In this case, human papillomavirus will enter the body through the damage to the skin or mucous membrane and cause infection, which will eventually lead to ichthyosis.

3. Human papillomavirus will enter the skin or mucous membrane wounds, and then exist in the base cell site. The DNA of these viruses will lurk in the body. Once the body's immunity is poor, it will begin to replicate and multiply in large quantities, and then fish scale nevi will grow, which will cause incomplete keratinization of the skin in the affected area.

4 How to remove fish scale nevus

1. External use of wart removal medicine has a clear effect among external medicines and a low recurrence rate. It is a pure Chinese medicine preparation ointment and can be used by yourself under the guidance of the instructions. It is convenient and quick. Generally, it is used once and the scab will fall off in 7-15 days.

2. Physical therapies include CO2 laser, liquid nitrogen freezing, electrocautery, microwave, etc., but it is difficult to completely eliminate the subcutaneous virus, the recurrence rate is high, and the cost is relatively high.

3. Interferon removal: The effects of internal and external interferon treatment or Chinese herbal medicine decoction treatment are unclear and can only be used as auxiliary treatment methods.

4. Folk remedies

People often use Brucea javanica to corrode small warts, which is also effective, but be careful with the dosage as it is quite toxic! Taking coix seed orally can improve the body's immunity and help eliminate viruses! Take a small piece of raw fat pork (the size of a copper coin), about two centimeters thick, marinate with salt for three days, then apply it to the fish scale nevus and tie it with gauze; after three or four days, the fish scale nevus will fall off naturally.

5. Chinese medicine prescription

Traditional Chinese medicine prescription for fish scale nevus: 27g of Artemisia capillaris, 27g of Platycodon grandiflorum, 27g of Tangerine peel, 27g of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 27g of Radish seed, and 27g of Euphorbia.
