Brightening liquid foundation

Foundation is generally divided into two types: liquid and solid. The advantage of liquid foundation is that it is easier to apply. Foundation plays a very important role in makeup, and foundation comes in many colors. Different colors have different functions. The foundation that brightens the skin tone should be determined according to the color of your own skin. As long as you master the skills, it will be quite easy to use.

1. Yellow foundation/loose powder: Yellow foundation can make yellow skin look even and bright, and the skin texture is as delicate and soft as enamel. However, do not use too much. It is best to mix yellow and skin-colored foundation in a ratio of 1:4, otherwise you may become a "yellow-faced woman without wrinkles".

2. Purple foundation/powder: Suitable for people with yellowish and dull skin, and also has a magical effect on covering dark circles. It can make the skin look crystal clear, delicate and transparent. If you apply it on prominent areas such as under the eyes, bridge of nose and forehead, it will be as if there were candlelight, making your face instantly brighter.

3. Pink foundation/powder: If you have pale skin, then pink foundation can make your face look rosy and healthy. In addition, it can be used on the cheeks to replace blush, creating a very natural rosy white look.

4. Green foundation/loose powder: If your skin color is reddish or dark, or if you have freckles or small scars from acne on your face, then with a green foundation, these little troubles can be easily solved. Because green foundation can instantly bleach sun-bleached skin and cover up small spots.

Tips for applying liquid foundation

First, pour an appropriate amount of liquid foundation into the palm of your hand and apply it evenly to the forehead, nose tip, cheeks and chin. Apply from the center of the forehead to the sides, lightly tap around the eyes, 45 degrees downward on the cheeks, and from top to bottom on the chin, philtrum and nose. Remember to push it down in one direction and avoid applying it back and forth repeatedly.

If you apply too thick foundation on your eyes, which blink frequently, fine lines will easily appear. Therefore, when applying foundation under the eyes, look slightly upwards and apply from the inside of the eye to the outside with light pressure.

The foundation should be applied thinly and evenly, and gradually faded when applied to the neck, behind the ears, forehead, and roots of hair. The transition between the foundation and the skin should be natural and soft, otherwise it will give a fake face appearance.

Be sure not to apply until it feels "perfectly just right". By the time you feel that way, the amount of foundation is already too much. It is actually most appropriate if you feel that after you have applied everything, it still looks like something is not enough.
