Seven ways to help yourself with facial skin allergies

For some people with thin skin stratum corneum or allergic constitution, facial skin allergy is a very common phenomenon. Self-help method 1 : Calming the skin

Clean your face with cold boiled water and a cleansing soap without any additives. Apply a thin layer of Vaseline before completely drying your face. Stay in a cool environment to quickly calm your skin.

The following terms in skin care products, especially facial cleansers, are chemical substances that are prone to cause allergies. Before purchasing the product, you should check the outer packaging carefully: (contains alcohol), (sorbic acid), (preservatives), (a general term for fragrances). If you don’t want to become a “sensitive beauty”, pay extra attention when purchasing!

Self-help method three : use alcohol-free toner

The function of toner is to give the face a refreshing and smooth feeling. Most general toners contain alcohol, which will not only make sensitive skin prone to redness, but will also cause the skin to feel tight after the alcohol evaporates. Therefore, you should choose a mild toner that does not contain alcohol or fragrances. When applying, use the tips of your index, middle and ring fingers to lightly tap the skin. Never pat it hard to avoid irritation.

Lack of vitamin C can easily make the skin rough and dry, leading to sensitive symptoms such as dermatitis and peeling. Among fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C, pears and kiwi fruit are the first choice. Eating more of them can strengthen skin tissue and help fight against external allergies.

Self-help method 5 : Wash your face with cold water frequently

Wash your face frequently with cold water to increase your skin's resistance. If your skin is not adapted to it, you can first use warm water (20℃-30℃), then gradually lower the water temperature, and use handmade soap made from natural materials or less irritating vegetable soap. It is best to use hypoallergenic donkey milk soap. Take a shower and wash your face separately. Bath water is too hot and is not suitable for washing your face, the same goes for other skin types, let alone sensitive skin. So be sure to wash them separately.

Self-help method six : natural plant skin care products

Use skin care products made from natural plants, such as skin care products made from vegetables and fruits or pure plant handmade soaps. It is not advisable to use nutritional skin care products and toiletries containing drugs or animal proteins because the skin is prone to allergies.

Self-help method seven : Don’t change cosmetics easily

When using a new skin care product, first apply a small amount on the inside of the forearm or behind the ear. Observe after 48 hours. If local redness, swelling, blisters, itching, etc. appear, it means that the skin is allergic to the product and must not be used. On the contrary, if there is no local reaction, you can use it. It is best not to put on too much makeup or change cosmetics easily.
