What are the methods and techniques for removing eyeliner?

In daily life, people often draw eyeliner, which can make the eyes look more lively and create more beautiful eye makeup. The process of drawing eyeliner is relatively complicated and requires mastering many skills. In this process, the technique must be gentle and the movements must be very delicate. Therefore, drawing eyeliner is not easy, but washing off eyeliner is not a simple matter. Here we will introduce to you the correct way to wash off eyeliner.

First, the method

1. Covering method - use pigment close to skin color to cover the original color.

2. Chemical peeling - the purpose of fading is achieved by corroding and peeling the epidermis.

3. High-frequency spot scanning method - use electrocautery to partially remove the pigment left on the tattoo.

4. Surgical eyebrow surgery - using surgical methods to partially remove skin to correct the eyebrow shape.

5. Laser eyeliner removal - the specific wavelength makes the pigment vaporize or explode instantly.

Second, principle

Laser eyeliner removal uses high-tech laser equipment and a specific wavelength to irradiate the tattooed area, causing the pigment in the skin to instantly vaporize or explode and shatter, breaking it into tiny particles that are swallowed up by phagocytes in the body and excreted from the body without causing damage to the surrounding normal skin and hair. Laser eyeliner removal treatment is convenient and quick, only takes one to two minutes, is painless, has obvious effects, and leaves no scars, making it an ideal way to repair failed eyebrow and eyeliner tattoos. For some patients whose tattoos are too dark, it is recommended that laser eyeliner removal be treated in multiple sessions, with an interval of three to six months between the second treatment.

Third, the process

Apply 5% ELMA anesthetic ointment to the affected area, add the matching Tagadern transparent adhesive patch, and perform laser treatment after anesthesia (about 40 to 60 minutes). Use appropriate goggles to protect the patient's eyes, and use a metal eye shield to protect the cornea when removing eyeliner. The treatment uses Q-switched Nd:YAG laser (wavelength 1064nm). The energy density for tattoo removal is 4.0-6.5J/cm2, the spot diameter is 2-3mm, and the treatment is done every 2 months; the energy density for eyebrow tattoo removal is 2.8-3.4J/cm2, the spot diameter is 4mm, and the treatment is done every 1.5 months; the energy density for eyeliner tattoo removal is 3.2-5.5J/cm2, the spot diameter is 3mm, and the treatment is done every 2 months. The frequency is controlled at 2~10Hz. Immediately after the operation, apply ice packs or ice cubes to the laser irradiated area for about 30 minutes and apply antibiotic ointment. Advise patients to avoid the sun.

Fourth, uniqueness

When laser eyeliner removal fails, there will be pain synaesthesia because it destroys the pigment. Coupled with the weakness of the eye skin and the ultra-sensitive nerves, the pain of eyeliner removal is self-evident. At present, most of the anesthesia methods for laser eyeliner removal use intravenous anesthesia and eye injection anesthesia, while acupressure point anesthesia is:

1. It is the only eyeliner washing method that uses acupressure points, does not require acupuncture anesthesia, does not suppress human consciousness, and does not damage human nerves.

2. It is the only method that does not require anesthesia for upper and lower eyelid puncture. It can clean the eyeliner without swelling of the eyes, which speeds up the cleaning of the eyeliner.

3. Due to its high efficiency and painlessness, the eyeliner washing treatment can be reduced to less than three times.
