Whenever the weather is dry, people's skin will feel lacking in moisture. At this time, it is necessary to replenish the corresponding amount of water. The best skin care product for hydrating is lotion. As long as you apply it in the morning and evening, you can clearly feel that the skin on your face has become more lubricated and firmer, and it will not be so dry. However, many lotions now contain a lot of chemical substances, which can be quite irritating to your skin. Therefore, you can understand the specific formula of the lotion and then make it yourself at home. Only homemade lotion will make you feel more at ease when using it, and it will be safer and healthier for your skin and avoid allergies. The ingredients of emulsions are similar to those of solid creams, except that the former contains less solid oil than the latter. In fact, the formula must be selected based on the required characteristics of the product, taking into account factors such as performance, stability, safety and viscosity. The main components include oily components such as hydrocarbons or esters, high carbon alcohols, fatty acids, etc. Surfactants include fatty acid soaps and nonionic surfactants. Aqueous ingredients include purified water, low-carbon alcohols, polyols, water-soluble polymer compounds, etc. The preparation technology of emulsions is generally more difficult than that of solid creams because emulsions should have both good fluidity and stability to avoid stratification during storage. By taking the following measures, a stable emulsion can be obtained. (1) Select oil phase and water phase materials with similar density. (2) Select appropriate emulsifiers. For example, using two or more emulsifiers with synergistic effects will have better effects than using only one emulsifier. (3) Add colloid to increase continuous viscosity. (4) Use a homogenizer. (5) Adding polyethylene glycol (600) stearate, polyoxyethylene lanolin alcohol ether, and polyoxyethylene cholesterol ether can increase the stability of the emulsion. In order to avoid and reduce emulsion and thickening phenomena, the dosage of stearin and its derivatives or cetyl alcohol should not be too large. In addition, adding low-viscosity white oil, oleyl alcohol or low-melting-point isomerized fatty acid esters can also reduce the thickening phenomenon of emulsions. Heat the polyethylene glycol in water and dissolve it, keep it at 70 degrees (water phase). Mix the remaining ingredients, heat and dissolve them, and keep them at 70 degrees (oil phase). The oil phase is added to the water phase for emulsification, and the mixture is emulsified in a homogenizer, and finally stirred and cooled to 30 degrees. |
